Came to visit my sister. I was happy that she is happy with her nurses and other staff. We brought her lunch and ate in the dining room. It was a nice visit, watching the chipmunk, squirrel, birds, and butterflies outside. Thank you for taking good care of her!

I visited today with the Sprague Smilers Senior Chorus, and enjoyed my visit. The residents seemed to enjoy the show, and the staff was helpful and pleasant. The facility is clean and the decorations are welcoming. And there is plenty of parking.

I had a lovely visit with some residents delivering flowers to moms today. It has been a while since I have been a volunteer at Douglas Manor. The staff is cheerful and helpful. The courtyard garden is beautiful. It was a lovely way to celebrate Mother’s Day. Thank you to Claire Chesmer, Recreation Director, for facilitating my visit today!

I visited a dear friend today who lives at the Manor and, as always, I was so impressed at how the staff treats each resident with respect and dignity. Their kindness and patience amazes me. They always seem go above and beyond to make sure each resident has the personal attention that they require. If you are looking for a home for your loved one, I would definitely recommend Douglas Manor.
