I was connected with Dr. Arthur through Lyra, so I can’t give a full review as I don’t know how it differs from therapy not through Lyra; however I was impressed by his ability to adapt. If something doesn’t feel right, make sure to communicate it, so he can better adapt to you. If you are someone who struggles to communicate it might be uncomfortable. Also if you are expecting to be observed like a psychiatrist would observe you remember that this is not psychiatry, but therapy. I think one of his strengths is with helping you rethink your situation or how to think of yourself better through analogies.

I first met Dr. Arthur when receiving care at a treatment center in South Florida and he is the best therapist I have ever had. He has helped me in so many ways to challenge my beliefs and ways of thinking even when i have been resistant to looking at things from a different perspective. He is very compassionate, kind, understanding and professional. He has helped me tremendously to get through the one of the darkest times in my life and because of the absolutely amazing care I received from him in treatment I am continuing to see him through his private practice. He has helped me so much and I am so grateful that I met him and am still able to continue to recieve care from him. I highly reccomend seeking care from Dr. Arthur if you are in need of therapy. Thanks to him I can truthfully say I am in a much better place in my life then I was before seeking care from him and I am very excited to continue working with him so i can improve myself and get to a happy and independent life free from my self defeating behaviors. After seeing a lot of therapist throughout the years and loosing hope, Dr.Chen has really helped me. As someone who struggles opening up he really took the time to help me feel comfortable and safe during each session. I would recommend Dr.Chen to everyone. I don’t think i would have overcame a lot of things we discussed, without the help of Dr Chen. If you are looking for someone who has a safe, accepting environment and allows you to open up without fear of judgement i would recommend Dr.Chen 10/10 times. He always reassured me when i had doubts and helped me progress fairly quickly. One of the best therapist out there hands down.

Working with Arthur has really helped me return to normal. I came to him during the most stressful and tiring time of my life and after working with him and helping me see the issues in a different light, I was able to start rebuilding. I am very grateful for the opportunity to work with Dr. Arthur as I processed my past and present trauma. Through my sessions with him I was able to explore how my trauma affected my day to day life and find freedom from the negative effects it had on me. I also was able to strengthen my confidence and develop a firm foundation on which to establish my recovery from drug and alcohol abuse, something which I believe was exacerbated by my trauma.

Dr.Arthur Chen has been working through my PTSD with me from being a first responder. He has extensive background in Trauma therapy. I cant put into words how much working with him has benefited me. Love dr. Chen. He has helped me figuring out family and personal matters and how to coupe with issues as well as learning to decompress. He is an amazing therapist with a lot of knowledge and a great motivator.
