My husband and I were looking for some answers to help a family member that had been dealing with some mental health issues. We felt that he was very caring and engaged in our situation. We never felt rushed and in fact gave us extra office time when we were in deep conversation. He gave great advice and had lots of educational tools if we needed it. Jessie worked patiently through my multiple requests for various invoices to send to my insurance company.

Dr. Grif and his office manager Jessie have been a pleasure to work with. I'm not sure what happened with these other seemingly disgruntled customers, but clearly "Lawrence Fishburn" is fake. It is very unfortunate that people go above and beyond to try to tarnish the reputations of good people and providers. Jessie has always done her best to work me into the schedule to accommodate my hectic and last minute calendar and I have never had any issues with her being rude or with billing. Quite the contrary: she is very caring and compassionate so it's no wonder she has been there so long. In fact, she helped me retroactively bill when my insurance denied so that I wouldn't be held responsible. Further, Dr. Grif has helped me through several trials and tribulations and I love how he uses real life examples to help me relate and realize what I'm going through at the time is normal, okay and "fixable". He is direct and tells me like it is and always offers free resources like videos and things to put on my flash drive so that I can do productive self-help outside of paying for therapy. And I love that he's not watching the clock like most other therapists. Sometimes he gives me more than an hour if he has it. That doesn't sound like someone who is only out for money to me... giving things away for FREE! I would highly recommend Dr. Grif!

Dr. Grif and his office manager Jessie are Wonderful!
Dr. Grif provides personal individualized treatment for my pre-teen son and I with ADHD. He has taught us many valuable tools for our day-to-day life, as well as with coping the recent loss of his father.
I have never waited more than a couple minutes for my appointment, and have never been rushed out the door. Jessie personally makes the appointment reminder calls, which are a pleasant touch to the annoying automated reminders most doctors use.
This is a professional practice where everyone truly Loves what they do and it shows!!

This place messed my insurance up by billing someone one else and then has the nerve to tell me it’s my responsibility to straighten it all up. The receptionist just keeps passing blame. My wife and I have the same insurance yet hers got paid and mine got denied. Kinda funny how this receptionist didn’t figure out why. Do not go here. So many better places. Plus, the dr only sits there and judges you for whatever reason you are seeking help. He was seeing me and my wife separately and when I would have my session he would bring up what my wife didn’t like. I believe that’s against hippa. It was almost like he was getting my wife and I against each other. Bottom line, go somewhere else.

Dr. Griffith has helped various members of my family over 25 years. Most recently he was most helpful in my applying for VA Disability. I served two tours in Vietnam and Dr. Griffith played a vital role in my qualifying for assistance.
Thank you and your staff. John Martin

Have been seeing Dr. Griff for a month or two now.
Last night my grandfather had a devastating heart attack as well as a very close relatives death recently. My parents are dead so my grandparents are all I have left. I cannot and will not leave my grandparents side until they are well again. I missed an appointment because of my family problems Dr griffs receptionist will not stop hounding me about a missed appointment fee of $150 dollars, not only does she not sympathize my situation she belittles me on the phone makes me feel as if I’m at fault for my family’s health issues. I broke down on the phone crying and she hung up on me mid sentence. I asked to speak with the dr or leave a message and she hangs up on me. I am in no way the aggressive or angry I am literally in tears and she gets defensive with me. I went to this Dr for help I trusted him , now he is adding to my problems not only monetarily, but I have never been so depressed. Please if your having troubles don’t see this doctor it will only make things worse in the end. The only receptionist there is heartless and cruel. When I spoke to her with kindness she responded with demeaning banter.
