Dr. Leslie Smith

This is not a "pill-mill". Dr. Leslie Smith has my highest praise. He is one of the most intelligent individuals I've ever met and the only Dr I trust with my treatment and more specifically my life. As long as he is in practice he is my first choice and my personal recommendation to anyone seeking life changing treatment. Dr Smith will find the right solution for you if you're not a fan of conventional medications. I myself am opposed to such treatment and he has specifically designed a treatment plan based on my individual needs. His practice works well with my insurance too and his staff is dedicated to helping you find your way into his office. He and his staff form a personal relationship with you and truly care. This is coming from someone who has seen several mental health professionals in the past and never followed up or just flat out left in the middle of sessions. Once more Dr Smith is the only Dr I trust.

Both my husband and I have been going to Dr. Smith (whom I commonly refer to as Doc, simply cuz he’s the only doctor we see and trust!) for the past 5 years or so. His staff is amazing, as is he! I would not trust any other doctor the way I have Dr. Smith, nor would I ever feel comfortable telling any other doctor the things that I have told him, but he listens to his patients like a psychiatrist is supposed to and leaves all judgement out of it, which is a hard trait to find in doctors today! I cannot praise him enough for the care, time, and understanding that we have received from him and his staff! On a side note, so as not to taint my positive review of him: He is the furthest thing from a “pill mill” and I am shocked and offended for him, that someone would make such an assumption, especially someone that does not even personally go to him!

Dr Smith is an incredibly bright man, it's been my experience that he is willing and able to think outside the box. I'm always impressed and very satisfied. I just had an opportunity to read a young lady's review of Dr Smith the gist of which is that he doesn't know his medication, over prescribing, and using the description "pill mill" .... My being human there are many topics ive little to no knowledge of - Ignorance.Unfortunately there are those who despite their ignorance on a certain topic choose to act or speak on it anyway.... Misinformation causes confusion, depending on the specifics increases suffering and solidifies Foundation of stigma. On an important matter like mental health in all that it encompasses, may I suggest one do a bit of research into his education and his experience, etc. The afore - mentioned woman issuing a negative review was obviously unaware her mother was being treated by one of the brightest in the field. When you're sitting across from someone who absolutely knows his business you can see it in his posture, here in his tone, and eventually learn it from the result. Surely there are many great psychiatrists - there are none better. I recognize how bold previous statement is - the validity allows for me to share an educated opinion. Wish everyone well ....

Nothing but a pill mill!!!! Dr Smith overprescribes my mother Xanax. She has had several falls & some major injuries as a result of the falls as well as addiction issues with benzos in the past yet he continues to allow this! I’ve got a quick trip I am going on then I will be gathering medical records & going to the state board! I have called twice as well as went in person once about my concerns he just don’t care as long as he gets his $100 per visit no insurance private pill mill! I wish this upon his family so he can know what it feels like as caregivers!!! I’ll give ya $100 to keep your prescriptions away from my mother jerk!

Dr. Smith is the best psychiatrist In Arkansas. He always listens to what you have to say, he discusses treatment options. He is very intelligent, caring, and always available . He is Awesome if you need help he is the one to see.

Dr Smith listens. The most important part. And while he may not give you flowers and sunshine always, he gives even better - the truth. He believes in his patients that they can fulfill anything they desire and doesn't mind temporarily making you think he's being mean or whatever if it means getting the message thru. He is like the mentalist. Don't try to lie to him, help yourself by letting him help. That's what we are there for, correct? His current admistrative assistant is just as compassionate and quick to help. They are worth everything and should charge more (except me lol). Love me some everybody up there.
