When I first met Dr Whitney Legler 6 years ago I had lost my soul. Having survived breast cancer, a double mastectomy and a botched knee replacement that left me unable to walk without a brace, my husband and 3 grown sons wondered where their wife and mother had gone. After seeing another Dr for about a year with absolutely no improvement, meeting Dr Legler immediately made me feel safe and secure . She was warm and caring, provided the tools I would need to begin my recovery. She was attentive and I knew from day one that to find myself again I would have much work to do.
Dr Legler provided the guidance and direction that enabled me to make great strides toward some level of normalcy. I had worksheets and homework assignments to complete. Dr Legler made sure I knew that to find myself I would need to complete the assigned tasks. Dr Legler is a very strong woman, patient and caring, completely focused on my growth. I still look forward to my bi-weekly appointments knowing I will come away with a stronger sense of myself.
I highly recommend Dr Legler for any neuropsychological needs.

I wanted to share with everyone my experience with Doctor Whitney Legler. My Mom was an amazing parent, friend and person. When she became ill, we were referred to Dr. Legler for help. I didn’t know what to expect from a neuropsychologist, but Dr. Legler quickly put my concerns to rest. Dr. Legler was extremely patient with my Mom and me. I had a lot of questions and no one to ask. Dr. Legler talked directly to us, you know when someone really looks at you and listens to you. She is obviously super smart, but she was so down to earth. I felt like I was talking to a friend and explaining the terrible concerns we had with my Mom’s health. After multiple tests, we got the bad news that Mom had Alzheimer’s disease. I think we knew it, but receiving the actual diagnosis and the terrible road ahead for my Mom was devastating. Again Dr. Legler took her time and compassionately explained everything to me. She wasn’t able to cure my Mom, but she was an empathic professional who made me feel like I wasn’t alone for the dark journey ahead. I will always be grateful for her compassion.

If you need help, please reach out to her office. I am so happy with everyone at Dr. Legler office including Dr. Legler!!! Amazing, never thought I would find such a caring group. I can't say enough good things about them. If you are reading this, then you know how hard it is to find caring, proffesional, competent doctors, in mental health. Give them a call before you give up looking for someone who cares about your health or for the health of a loved one. Fantastic find, on the Treasure Coast.
