ECDA is so wonderful. Marilee and her team are very loving and have been a great resource for our family. I did the Toddler and Me program with one of my children and the Toddler and Me and Preschool Prep programs with another child. Both kids loved the programs and the Preschool Prep is excellent preparation for transition to preschool. I highly recommend ECDA.

We have been seeing Marilee since our daughter was 4 months old. She is now 1.5 years and we both look forward to every class. She has become increasingly independent in their preschool like setting, while I get to enjoy the support and informative discussions between other parents and group leaders. We highly recommend ECDA and will keep attending as long as we can!

We went to Marilee based on a referral from our school as our 5 1/2 year old daughter was exhibiting signs of crippling social anxiety. We felt lost, unsure how best to help our daughter. And then, we met Marilee. From our first visit, she was kind, attentive, abundantly caring and incredibly insightful. We came up with a plan and implemented it right away. Our daughter was to meet with Marilee one on one once a week and then be a part of a little friend’s Group once a weekto try and boost her innate abilities to handle her mounting anxieties. To say it worked would be a gross understatement. Almost immediately, my husband and I saw drastic shifts in our girl. Her fun loving, joking spirit began to return and every morning she would happily ask, “is today the day i get to see Marilee!?” We have been going for two months and the change has been SO profound our school commented on the shift without being prompted. Marilee and her expertise, her infinite kindness, and her ability to connect with children - has given us our daughter back. To say we are grateful is just the beginning of what we feel. My little baby turned into a confident and social young girl under the watchful eye of the ECDA team. Everyone we met has been warm and supportive and the attention the kids get is unmatched (1 to 1 ratio of adult to child). I can’t express in words just how invaluable Marilee and her team at ECDA have been to me and for our family. I’ve had two kids graduate from her toddler program over the last few years and I can’t wait to enroll my third child when the time comes. ECDA is a wonderful preschool prep program and support group for parents and care givers alike. While the children learned and played in one room, the parents stayed close by to participate in group discussions each week. It was a great way to check in and have the opportunity to ask questions and talk about what worked and wasn’t working for everyone. It really helped me navigate parenthood and all the challenging times that arise during those first few crucial years of parenting and raising children. The class notes that get emailed to everyone ahead of each class have been so fabulous to use as a reference point on numerous occasions. I don’t know what I would have done without Marilee and all of her wisdom. My children still talk about her and her classes and especially love to look back at photos and videos of their time spent there. The support, knowledge and friendships formed by attending these classes have been simply priceless!

My 8 year old daughter has been attending a play group with Merilee and her associates for the last year and a half. She has greatly benefitted from this class as it develops her social-emotional skills in an environment that’s safe, nurturing, and fun. It has been wonderful to have this space for her where she has built trusting relationships during times of change, ie. new school, loss of a grandparent, family health issues, etc.. She has also had a few one-on-ones with Marilee which have been helpful. We are very grateful for the family resource and have recommended it to several friends’ for their children.

Marilee and her team are knowledgable, kind and caring professionals, who provide you with all the necessary tools to resposibly parent a Toddler. ECD is a wonderful, nurturing environment that every parent and child should be able to experience. When in doubt...ask Marilee! We are so ready for pre-school and it's all because of Marilee and her wonderful teachers. We are so grateful to have shared such precious time with them.
