Honestly, the treatment and attention I received at this place are unbeatable. I am very grateful for such good service and especially with the staff at the Naples office, they are an example of organized work and commitment to their clients. Thank you!

The staff aren’t really helpful, I have to call a million times to try to get help the process is way too long. I can’t even get into contact with my case worker! Instead of working for the mothers who need help childcare because it’s expansive they have Christmas parties and don’t get their work done. I’ve worked them in the past and through out the years they have been nothing but a challenge. I turn all my paper work in the day of and have to wait weeks or months for a response. It’s not fair, I’m a single mom with two small children, there responsibility it to help who is “qualified” but don’t. I need the funding and they’re closed for almost two weeks. “Short staffed” or “so busy” so I have to go jobless and take care of my kids ?

I just want to say thank you to Ms.Jamie. She was such a big help getting both my daughters approved for the program. She made sure to keep me in the loop about anything that I needed to do or get. Definitely is a waiting game because they don’t control when funding goes out. But Ms.Jamie made sure everything was okay. God bless her honestly ❤️

I submitted my application on 2/20/24 & uploaded the necessary documentation. I waited to hear back from someone just to receive an email stating that my application was "inactive" with the reason being due to "parent withdrew from application." I did NOT, not once, withdraw from this application. This email really stressed us out since I was told positive things about this agency & now I can understand everyone's frustration. I've been working for almost a month now & my husband is also full time. We were facing some non-normative circumstances so we are trying to do everything to make sure our son is okay. We both have left voicemails to receive a call back & have not been reached yet. My son is reaching his start date for day care soon. I am trying to get the necessary guidance & assistance for this process so that I don't have to worry about my son receiving care. If someone could PLEASE just give us a call back, that would be greatly appreciated.

I was very happy to find about Early learning coalition. At the beginning of the application everything went smooth and fast. I was getting calls and everything to get help with my case. I was approved and also received an email stating that funds were available for us. I sent the rest of the documents on december 16 and after that I have probably called about 50 times and nobody picks up the phone, or If they do they transfer me to my case worker and this person is (of course) never available. I just need help part time to be able to work a little and my for son to have access to early education to help him develop some skills that he is needing to improve. I am so sad and disappointed with early learning coalition. I have never request any help from the government or anything except for this

Months ago I emailed my case worker in regards that I just had a baby boy and was enrolled into school and needed my pre existing application opened to add my son. My daughter is already enrolled and active. I had no response, I sent another email asking for an update. Again, no response. I had called a few days later, giving her some time to be notified she did just open it … but never contacted me back with an update. I quickly submitted everything and emailed her letting her know. I also called and left a message for her to call me back so that we could talk, no response. Another week goes by and I reach out again via email and voicemail. AGAIN, no response. I call ELC and get told she has 10 business days to review the case…. Those days pass…. No word. I then call again to be transferred and was sent to voicemail. It’s been about 3 weeks and I’m desperate. I had to enroll him anyway in order to go to school. I’m in need of assistance. I finally got ahold of her yesterday after calling 5 times. She then called me back, she was very rude and hostile to me… when all I asked for was an update. She was extremely unprofessional with the way she was handling the situation. Blaming everyone but herself. She told me the desk people are new and don’t know what they are talking about. She then said her supervisor gives her a list everyday and I’m not on priority. I asked her for her supervisors number and she told me no and that she would talk to her herself then email me back that day. Again, no email or response. I am desperate to the point I will have to drop out of school. I can not pay 1400 a month just for my son, I need assistance, I need a response, I need some sort of care from someone. I sent her one last email asking for her to please respond. Explaining my situation, asking how I can be put on priority, apologizing for being annoying, I’m just desperate and have had a horrible experience. Again, no response. At this point it seems hopeless and I am given no other choice but will have to pull him out of school and quit school myself. Absolutely horrible experience, it’s clear these people DO NOT CARE !!!

I submitted a VPK application for my son a month ago. I have checked the status on a daily basis and it has not changed. After a month of waiting, I decided to call the Fort Myers office. I have called numerous times during open hours and left two voicemails over two weeks. I have not gotten a response and my application status still says submitted. After reviewing recent Google reviews, I am seeing that this is an ongoing issue. One of the recent reviews had a response with contact information via email for Dr. Melanie Stefanowicz, CEO. I emailed the email address provided and it was kicked back as the mailbox is currently undergoing maintenance. With no way of getting in contact with the Fort Myers office or anyone who works within this company via phone or email, it should not be considered active and must be reported. At this point, I have no idea how I will be able to enroll my son in preschool.
