These people do not care about your mental health. They will send you to the wrong location and then cancel your appointment after an hour of waiting. At this point it seems like they take a certain pride and joy in messing with people who need mental health treatment. Absolutely reprehensible. I would avoid this company like the plague. Also, to those reading my review, keep in mind how they choose to respond to bad reviews, it is soul-less and indicates a deep rooted greed that fails to show any sort of self-awareness, or true desire to assist the community in any meaningful way. Great job guys! Maybe the people running the place need their own psychiatric treatment, I would avoid this location though!

Last note: Don't be alarmed if the psychiatrist ends the zoom call abruptly, or simply ignores you. This seems to be the norm based on my experience.

Unfortunately my daughter & her grandmother had to experience the worst customer service at this location. Coming from a parent that was proud of her daughter for wanting therapy and waiting a long time to finally get to this point, to then receiving a phone call from her due to being intimidated by the way the therapist herself & front desk treated them. It was very disappointing and sad. Her not wanting to return at all. I called the office to speak to someone regarding this, which I never got a call back. I spoke to front desk and you could tell just by the response that they had no consideration on how my daughter experienced her visit. I work in the medical field, so I understand everything when it comes to parents, patients, and even our staff. But I will never recommend this location to anyone. I have always taught my children it’s not what you say it’s how you say it, and clearly this staff and therapist should be taught the same. This place should be a safe place & a place where our kids should be safe to talk. Elite dna in the fort Myers location has been great to my two oldest kids for a few years, so it’s sad to see how one location cab misrepresent the true meaning behind Elite Dna. Although I know my daughter will never return to this place and I’m sure I will never get a call back with a genuine apology to my daughter or any future kids that attend this office and have experienced the same. I pray for this society and I pray for the therapist and staff who probably had a bad morning and didn’t care at all about providing a better welcoming experience. Mental health does matter & if you are going to speak about it at least follow through with kindness. 🙏🏽

Office staff very friendly and helpful. They are understanding and want to help you. financial department is very helpful. They want to help you out if you are unable to pay in full your bill they will work with you for payment plan and they are very reasonable. Doctor I see is very good and listens to you and is very much helpful. She wants to help you and get you on the correct path.

I was so happy that i found a doctor at Elite DNA Behavioral Health. I dont like change and i moved here from Ohio. My doctor was Latavia Wells i felt very comfortable with her. Thank you so much Dr. John for referring them to me.

Very unprofessional and racist… every time I have an appointment with them they never do their jobs always rude attitude from the staff towards black peoples… and I’m confused if they’re there to help kids and provide medicine… so should black parents be afraid… please DON’T FORGET I AM THE SAME BLACK PARENT WHO WAS AT YOUR FACILITY WITH MY BLACK CHILD SO PLEASE DONT TELL ME THE TREATMENT WE HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING IS NORMAL BECAUSE YOU WOULD NOT HAVE DONE TO A WHITE PARENT AND THEIR KID OR KIDS

After first interview where I talked to a receptionist they wanted money before they could even determine whether or not they would even see me. They scheduled another appointment for weeks later saying it was the only space they had open at 8am. I was kicked from the zoom call. I was logging into the zoom meeting going through their process page and it asked again for a payment CC. That I didn't have on hand so picked the ask me later option believing they had a card from earlier. They kicked me out of the zoom and called me saying they would need a additional payment of 280$ for the second interview to see if I could even be seen by a psychiatrist. Knowing we had talked to them about their scale payments for people that didn't have insurance or any money they said didn't you fill out the PDF form we already sent you. Looking through all my emails and even screen showing it I never received a email with any PDF to sign up for a scale payments. That moment on the phone they did send me the copies of the PDF from not Elite DNA but from some woman's personal email and the PDF was copied in such a way all the pages where turned to the side like they couldn't be bothered to put them in the copier the correct way so the form would wouldn't almost be sideways. If you are not on Medicaid or Medicare don't expect them to not grap every penny that they can try to get from a cash pay person. And knowing Medicaid and carre they don't pay the full amount that a cash person would pay. So I would expect their service to be less that. Lack lustered to help anyone out unless they get you in there 500 times to pay for their desired salary.

Dr Wells is easy to talk to and thorough in my visits with me. The girls at the front desk are helpful and friendly. A couple times I had an issue getting my medication though, partly due to the shortage of it, and partly due to miscommunication between the doctor, the office, and the pharmacy.
If your meds are on the shortage list, I really suggest that before your appointment you call around to check what pharmacies have it in stock. Yesterday I had to call 17 pharmacies before I found one.
Also, the office manager Chrissy is stellar pragmatic. She goes miles above and beyond to make sure any issue is resolved.
If you live in this area, i suggest going to the Lehigh office instead of ft myers.theyre smaller and much more personable.

Update: February 2025....
This office is more personable, proactive, and considerate each and every time I reach out to them. I feel like they are family at this point, and I'm thoroughly grateful to have doctor Wells and the whole team in my corner.
Gratey, (spelling?😬) one of the office ladies, is particularly wonderful. Each time she's been on the receiving end of my request for help, my needs are met with quickness and compassion. These guys never stop upgrading the awesomeness, and they're such assets to the mental health movement. Cheers!

I talked to office lady earlier on that day to pay my co pay, already out of the bank right away, I couldn’t get in to zoom for appointment so I called again and she is keep telling me that I never pay. She checked saying no you haven’t pay. Told her I did and out of my bank account she never believed me, finally she admitted I paid. She never apologized she was wrong told me to calm down. It wasn’t professional. She told me other lady in office did it old way to accept payment over the phone, that’s not my problem.They have to make sure communicate what has to be done in the office. I wasn’t happy how she handle all this situations. And this time they sent out so late 30 minutes before appointment to get it done survey and update information. Please send out early next time!
