Since seeing Les, I've been feeling much better, appointments are easy and he listens to me. I never feel rushed. Nancy the MA is gentle and kind when taking my vitals. I reach out to Carrie when I need an appointment and she is always friendly and helps me! I highly recommend Elite DNA to anyone looking for services. I absolutely love my doctor but I cannot talk to the awful women in the office. I switched stores at work and they haven't been able to confirm my insurance acting as if I'm lying about having it. I had to have a new card mailed out and I have to wait for it until they will ley me reschedule. I was supposed to start seeing a therapist through them over 6 months but they won't schedule me until I pay the bill(wo insurance witch I certainly can't afford). I just got paid and was going to try to pay most of what I should owe. I called so many places kept giving them the information and they say it's wrong and to call again. Now they canceled my psychiatrist appointment for tomorrow and said not even to call them when I get the info but to call an app. It's insane I cannot believe they can't figure out my insurance. Why not call the pharmacy to confirm. So now I'm going yo have to seriously consider a new doctor... I really like mine tho. This is insane. Such cold-hearted disgusting of a staff they havehere. Id give Ashley punches 5 stars she is great....it's just if the staff will let ypu get to see one of the doctors. I must need an advocate or someone to make these calls for me. They know my diagnosis and that I have a phone phobia and get panic attacks everytime they yell at me. And they don't record the phone calls...I wish you could hear some of the things they said to me. Sorry Ashley I hope to see you soon if I can ever figure out how to get my insurance to them. This is going to be a nightmare. How can they refuse me getting my medical help Ineed. I trulh think the entire office had mental issues and should learn compassion and how to talk to their patients. .

So far my experience just setting up a new patient appointment has been pretty terrible. Primary sent over a referral for a psych appointment. With how difficult this has been / confusing just to get in I’m not sure if I even want to proceed with them. My first appointment is just to get my history and such apparently, THEN set up the appointment with a psych doctor? So charged twice? Yea idk.

Please don't let anything about my review deter you from seeking mental health services. If you're in crisis or even if you're not, do your research but please don't let the negative comments (everywhere) keep you from seeking the help you may need. You deserve to be well and as I often say, "There is no health without mental health."

All of that being said, I was hugely disappointed in my experience with Elite DNA. I was in crisis from a reactivation of PTSD and maybe they're just not wired for people in acute crisis. Or maybe I didn't make a good enough case. But from my first contact until I could get to actually speak with someone was about a week. Ugh. Even the on-hold message didn't seem to be done in a such a way to encourage a person to keep trying to get help. Just a bad phone message can send someone running for cover.

Anyway, after filling out pages of paperwork, I finally got a virtual appointment with someone who could get me to someone who could help me. She began by saying, "I know a lot of these questions are going to seem redundant...." and then she went on to ask me most of what I'd already filled out on the paperwork. So she got to ask me all the fun questions, including about intimate things, all over again. That's easy to fix, Elite DNA!

Then I found out it would be months until I could get an in-person appointment. I was offered a virtual appointment within about a week... and I'm grateful for that, but it wasn't what I needed. I ended up just giving up and saying I'd pass. It took me about two weeks to go through the complete process of learning my therapy options -- none of which were ticking the boxes I needed.

Oh, for all of this, I received a bill for $339 for "psychiatric evaluation services." I don't think Medicare would agree that's what happened. I had to pay a $30 copay. It doesn't feel right to me. 95% of the call was simply re-asking me the same questions I’d spent an hour answering online. I don’t think I was evaluated at all.

I hate whiny reviews. I love sharing great stories of great organizations and people doing great work. Can't do that here. This all seemed pretty mediocre to me: Employees who are each doing his/her specific job with no real connection to what the patient might be going through or how to optimize a patient's experience. My experience felt like I was interacting with an organization that operated so the organization pieces all worked, without much concern of a patient in serious need. The office is literally just down the street from my house but interacting with this place made me feel like one of us was on Mars.

I hope your experience is better. Don't do what I did and give up on getting the help you need! Meanwhile, if you are a provider reading this, work to optimize your patient intake experience so a person with a need feels like they are talking with someone who cares, rather than just a corporate entity filling out the right form. You can't help a patient who gets scared away by a cold person on the phone, paperwork that doesn't make sense, or any of the things you have done to make your business run well internally, but to present a cold and nearly hostile face to the outside world.

My kingdom for the gentle voice on the phone saying they can get me in to see a provider by the end of the week!

We'd had our full of doctors that just kept giving the same meds that weren't helping. Dr. Keith encouraged us to try something different. I was concerned because of stories on Google, but he said they didn't match his experience. Experience is what I was looking for so I decided to trust him. It has worked out very well for our family.

They don't even offer Maternity leave benefits to their employees, and a majority of their employees are women.

Dr. Jennifer Z. Is amazing!! She is relatable and understanding. Also all questions and refills are always taken care of same day. Great office with phenomenal staff!!
