This place stoops down to a lower level than what I thought was possible. On so many occasions I have been let down by people I looked up to as a kid; I always thought doctors were supposed to help people not upsell them and forget to do their job. Let me preface, never in my life have I left a bad review for any company, but this place was literally begging for one. Coming here I have had more things go wrong than right, yet I keep trying to give them another chance. The psychiatrists are in and out of this place faster than employees at a FedEx warehouse, and they are barely qualified. Not to mention the therapists couldn’t care less about what you have to tell them; I know the face of someone going on autopilot and waiting to clock out. I have seen harder workers at McDonald’s. I’ve had to pay out of pocket multiple times because of the psychiatrist messing up and it just gets swept under the rug. If you want a bunch of high school kids handling your mental health and medication by all means come here, otherwise save your money and more importantly your time. They are scam artists more than anything else and it’s insulting that they place themselves at the same level as actual doctors. If you know what’s good for you don’t come here.

Veteran forced to use this office and appt (after leaving work early) was canceled 30min before scheduled appt time. Drove 1.5hrs away for this appt and was 15 min away. The office staff could’ve cared less. They do not value anyone’s time which is irreplaceable. If I could give negative stars I would. Extremely unprofessional! Not surprised after a quick google search showed some crazy credited articles. Do your research first!! And fight for a right to quality care! NEVER going back or (attempting to go) back to this place!

The first question I asked when making an appointment here was “Do you accept my Insurance?” Their response was “yes we do.” Imagine my surprise when I received a bill for $250.00 stating they were out of network. Not once did they bother to call, email or even attempt to notify me about this like most professional, good Doctors do. This is unacceptable and made my Anxiety and Panic attacks escalate. People trust when told you are covered through your Insurance and do not deserve to be blindsided with a bill they can’t afford to pay. Now I have the extra worry of being thrown into collections for their failure of giving me the option to go to someone within my network. Did they learn nothing from their first lawsuit filed against them for billing fraud Shame on them. They should not be allowed to work with people with Mental Health issues at all. Why are they even still in business knowing their propensity to screw people over? Stay away from this place!!!!!

Cancelled my appointment 45 minutes before the appointment after I made a 2 hour drive, but I would have to cancel 24 hours in advance. I would expect the same courtesy. It was set up by the VA so I did not have a choice. Extremely unprofessional.

I drove 2 hours for a very important appointment and was canceled 20 min before arrival. The VA should not use this company as this seems to be a trend! Horrible place, and the staff was so unsympathetic

I went to Ellington Behavioral Health yesterday for the first time. For Anxiety. Everything went smooth and met with the therapist Joe. He was a really good guy. Other than the place seeming very unorganized. I was greeted by the most unprofessional lady I have ever seen in a heath care facility!! but I was desperate and proceeded with my appt. Today I got a phone call from the office staff saying that they put my apt in for a time, that the doc wasn't available for. This was the second time they rescheduled with me. so I said ok, when will be the next time you can fit me in to your extremely disorganized schedule? the lady, never even got her name. Started to raddle off time and dates, most of these were out of my comfort zone because I really want to start feeling better. Then I asked if there was something for tomorrow, I have been waiting dealing with the reschedules. She say let me look. after 5 minutes of her trying to figure out how to work the schedule. She them threw out a date that was a week away at like 4pm. Unacceptable!!!! I said, if I have to wait another full week ill just find another doctor that can actually HELP me!! Then she slammed the phone!!!!! I tried calling back 3 times. The phone went to the message. She was sitting there looking at my number come through. I will be calling back to speak with a office manager if they even have one. I have never ever felt so disrespected from a health care provider. I will make it my life goal to tell everyone not to step foot in this place. You will leave feeling worse than you did walking in!!!!!!! This place is a joke!! I should have looked at the reviews before going. Enter at your own risk!
