I’ve been in and out of different therapy services for years and Emerald Coast Outpatient has been the most effective of all of them. I was lucky to be in Zach’s group. He approached problems and topics with a new and unique way that helped the group feel vulnerable but safe. He treated everyone as individuals and made them feel cared for and listened to, instead of seeing people as just another patient to deal with. His approach to group therapy focused on leaving a life long impact that helps you approach your issues with a higher understanding and confidence. His group was genuinely helpful, and he was very aware of each persons progress, making sure to adapt his program as needed.

My goodness, I’m not even sure where to start. This place is completely phenomenal, and that is entirely due to the staff and providers who genuinely care about the people they are treating. The time, care, and attention that they put into their treatment plans and how they treat each individual patient according to their needs is beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. I have been in and out of therapy for years and this is the first time that I felt like what I was being taught And the tools that I was given, actually made a difference in my life, In my perspective, and in how I treat myself and those around me. If you’re looking for a magic pill, there’s no such thing! However, if you’re looking for empathetic caregivers in an environment that makes you feel like you’re surrounded by family and people who view you as someone to be valued and cared for then this is 100% the place for you. Mr. Zack (soon to be Dr. Zach) and Ms. Laura were gems. Ms. Laura with her empathy, kindness, and gentleness make you feel safe and heard, while Mr. Zach (tho annoyingly perceptive lol) brings humor and a bit of a no-nonsense approach to everyone who needs a bit of realism in their therapy. The ladies at the front, Ms. Kenzie and Ms. Mia were total sweethearts who were quick to lend a helping hand when needed and definitely looked out for the best interests of anyone they came into contact with. I really cannot sing the praises of this place highly enough. Seriously, if you need help, this is the place to go.

Zach is an absolutely amazing unorthodox therapist. He has helped me through so much and his program (that he created himself) is extremely intriguing and informative. After my not so amazing time at the inpatient facility. He turned my view of ECBH around. I really appreciate the help I received and if I end up needing that level of care again. He would be the reason I even consider going back to ECBH

IOP at Emerald Coast Behavioral was the best thing I could have done for my mental health. Not only did the program help me get out of the seemingly endless cycle of self-destruction I fell into, it also gave me the tools and skills to move forward with my life instead of dwelling on my past.

I cannot thank Claritza, Dr. Claire, Adrian, Zach, Autumn, and the entire reception staff enough. The therapists will push you to face your problems and dance with them instead of fighting with yourself, the doctors are attentive and listen to your concerns, and the rest of the staff is patient, understanding, and always receptive to any questions you might have. They all genuinely care.

If you're struggling with PTSD, substance abuse, or anything related to mental health, I cannot recommend coming here enough.

I really improved a lot in my time here in group counseling. Zach, Adrian, and Claire were all hugely helpful, they seem to really care about everyone here. The group I had were some of the nicest people I’ve met and I would recommend this to anyone struggling with anxiety, depression, ptsd, or substance issues.
