Empower Physical Therapy: Phoenix West

I've been coming here since late November or early December of 2020 for physical therapy after my left shoulder replacement November of 2020. The staff is AWESOME. Always a great time doing my exercises and getting a little bit of a massage on the most affected part of my shoulder followed up with some time on a TENs unit. They have all sorts of equipment to assist in all types of physical therapy. They even have a pool to use if needed. The first photo is of a hand bike which is what I've been starting on for the past month or so.

I would like to thank you so much Eric! You and your team have done amazing work on me after my car accident. Keep up the great work! I highly recommend empower physical therapy west!

The specialist were very attentive, helpful, & mindful of the apecial care that is needed for this type of work. They are friendly - clean - and worth 5 star service.

The physical therapy is awesome. I feel the improvement on my muscles just after 2 visits. Not to mention, the staff is very friendly.

In the short time I was there. I have always felt welcome. There was days I went in and I was in pain. When I was greeted, the first question is How are you feeling today? They first helped me with the pain, before we moved on with therapy. We were sent to Therapy for a reason. You get a one on one attention. They help you with the reason your there, Not to make it worse.

Empower physical therapy is absolutely amazing. The Therapist goes above and beyond to meet your needs and expectations. The entire team is awesome, and helpful. I would like to thank Kayla, CC, Bernard, Mayra, and Jojo for being awesome .I could not ask for a better place to complete Aquatic Therapy/Physical Therapy.

Wow!! I wish I had come here first after my knee replacement. Bianca suggested trying Dry Needling along with the exercises and what a huge difference this had made to my quality of life. This is the first time in almost a year after my knee replacement that I've been able to get a good nights sleep without waking up every hour with muscle pain. And by the way , the rest of the staff are just as amazing!!

I must say going to physical is no fun, but the staff at Empower Physical Therapy on 83rd Ave and Thomas make it a joy to recover and rehab! Starting with Jojo at the front desk, you know that the office is run very efficiently. Jojo keeps the place moving and she is very friendly. Dr. Lenora is exceptional! She very astutely listens to my rehab needs and formulates a plan to rebuild me. Dr. Lenora has pulled a few therapies out of her bag of skills that seemed somewhat unorthodox, but are helping me with issues. Aaron has been an amazing therapist and runs the pool therapy like drill sergeant keeping me motivated and accountable for my rehabilitation. Mayra is a big part of what makes this PT office so special. Mayra is friendly attentive and extremely skilled, she and Leslie keep the floor moving and the patients engaged! I have been to other PT groups for rehabilitation, but none as great as the Empower PT group at the 83rd and Thomas Rd. location!
