Kim sets the mood of caring and compassion, in a safe and beautiful atmosphere. Her work is intuitive and skilled, and she seems to know without me telling her what part of my body needs the most attention. I love the use of bells, bowls, and tuning forks to produce additional wonderful healing vibrations for my session. She tunes in deeply to her client and what their needs are and uses an eclectic approach to reduce stress and promote relaxation. Cloud Nine should be the name of her table!

I have seen Kim for massage, sound healing, guided meditations, and birth/postpartum care. She has been beyond amazing in all of these areas! She is an incredibly skilled therapist who genuinely cares about the well-being of her clients. She is always able to discern what I most need during a session and adapt accordingly. Some days touch just seems like too much and she will change the whole treatment to sound and meditation leaving me feeling grounded and rejuvenated.

I’ve been a long time massage client of Kim’s and cannot say enough wonderful things about her and her services. She really knows the body and knows how to give a great massage. I love the sound bowls and tuning forks that she includes in your session. It really adds to the relaxation and helps me get out of my head and into my body. I recently had my first hypnotherapy session which was really cool! I’m looking forward to trying it again sometime soon.

I have the best experience with Kim and the Essence Sanctuary every time I go! The office is such a calming, inviting space, you will feel a beautiful energy right upon entering. Kim is a trained, skilled, professional massage therapist but I will always go back to Kim because healers are born and Kim is a healer. She is very warm and genuine and the energy she brings to her craft is something very special. I can't wait to dig into hypnotherapy and try the healing sound/ vibration table. The Essence Sanctuary is one of Arcata's gems and so is Kim. You should go meet her, you will be glad you did...
