Dr. Conte was AMAZING with my son.

Dr. Conte went over the results of my son’s MRI with us that unfortunately will require surgery on his arm (devastating news for a HS senior getting ready for his final season of baseball ) . My son was very upset by the news. Dr Conte was not only knowledgeable ; but took the time to answer any and all of the questions my son had regarding the injury , options , etc. Dr Conte empathized with my son but was also direct with his approach and recommendations . To me , this not only demonstrated Dr. Conte’s expertise in Orthopedics but also a much needed empathetic approach that is a rarity in today’s world. At no point did I feel that Dr. Conte or the staff were rushing us. (We were the last appointment on a late Friday afternoon and as we all can relate - I am sure they were ready to end a long week and go home ) . In a world where most times , patients are made to feel like a number and are being rushed out of the exam room for the next appointment to come in - “next” - our experience at Rothman has been the direct opposite. From the front office staff at both the Hamilton and Pennington locations - all the way to our experience with Seth , Kristen Knorr & Dr Conte , our experience has been 5/5. Thank you to all at Rothman that we have come into contact with - each one of you have made this experience less stressful with your help, knowledge, professionalism and most importantly- kindness . Denied surgery after 3 months of waiting and being told to wait for answers.

Told the reason for denial was because I was rude to staff when I truly did nothing to anyone that was deserving of the way I was treated. I’m in way worse shape now then I was walking into this doctors office back in August.

Dr. Conte expressed to me how dire my surgery is and how urgently I need it. It’s wildly confusing to put me through so much stress to get everything situated with my insurance and all then to tell me that I’ve been denied for being rude without providing any evidence. If there had been a recording or any proof of me being rude or disrespectful then I would take accountability and apologize for my actions. Nothing was provided

A representative named Lindsey from scheduling, called me to schedule my surgery. I asked her to double check with my insurance before getting the surgery scheduled. (as anybody who can’t afford surgery would do) She told me it wasn’t her job to check. I then asked her to transfer me to a representative who could assist me. she told me to lose my attitude and said to call the main line.

Someone’s rudeness to me and not liking of me shouldn’t justify a whole doctor to deny me surgery. It’s very upsetting.

This is the only negative review I have ever left a person or company.

Dr. Conte is a very kind and caring physician. He personally took the time to explain my condition, and answer all of my many questions in a prompt and thorough way. He helped me understand all of the options & guided me through a successful plan of care. His team at Rothman was also amazingly helpful throughout this process. I have now returned to work and most of my previous activities. I am very grateful for his EXCELLENCE in every aspect of care and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND him as your doctor!!

Dr. Conte was great. He was thorough, and answered all my questions. He also asked me several questions to help determine appropriate treatment options. I left the office feeling confident that I'll make a 100% recovery after PT.
