I had been seeing a counselor at the Trinity location and just recently switched to the Safety Harbor location. My counselor at the Trinity location was wonderful and helpful as is the new counselor I am working with in Safety Harbor. The staff and in particular, Liz, are also very helpful. It saddens me to read such negative reviews regarding Liz because they do not truthfully reflect the wonderfully caring and helpful person she is. Whenever I have called to reschedule she has gone above and beyond to help me get an appointment that works for me. Without reservation and with much enthusiasm recommend Family Psychology Associates at either location. I am grateful they are here.

Sadly when calling a place like this, you are looking for ease and assistance, not more frustration. I originally called the Trinity office and was placed on hold. The person who took the call never came back so I hung up. Later in the day I called the other office. I provided all my information and times I needed and was told they would call me back the next day for scheduling. The next day we talk to the trinity office again to find out they aren’t taking any new customers with a certain insurance. Ok. Back to the other office. I ask if they are taking any customers with this insurance and because of the timing I needed they said they didn’t have anyone available.

Ok recap. When asked for time and insurance, couldn’t we have figured out right off the bat there was no spots instead of spending all this time going back and forth?

I understand the trinity office is short staffed but there seems to be a break down of the intake process that needs to be addressed as this was extremely frustrating.

I am horrified at how I was treated by Liz. Shame on her. An individual calls a therapist looking for help, not to feel as though they are not important and belittled.
Liz asked for a number to call me back, she was on another call. I explained I was at work and what time would be better for me to call back.? She again said she was on the phone and asked for my number to call back. Tried again to explain that I was at work and this is a subject I would rather not discuss in front of my co-workers and what would be a better time to call back? Liz, not skipping a beat says, "as soon I get off the phone." hummmmm. I was a bit shocked at this response. I asked again what would be a better time to call back, because again, I was at work. Liz replied, "I'm at work too" Whoa!!! that response left me speechless. Liz then hung up
If this is how your clients, I would have been a new client, are treated I'm glad I found this out now before I trusted any of my information with your practice.

I have been a patient in both the Safety Harbor location and more recently the Trinity location for almost 4 years. Everyone I have dealt with has been amazing - both my individual and pre-marital counselors, and all of the front office staff with whom I have spoken. Wonderful place that I would recommend to anyone working through something (and I have certainly done so!)

I had the same results. I went a few yrs back. Was at my fourth session and realized that all she was doing was be-littling me, telling me what I DID wrong, etc. Every time I left there, I felt 1- times worse than when I arrived! I was looking for help, not a lecture. She sure liked telling me what was wrong with me but never once did she say what I could do to better myself! I'm still searching.....

Absolutely trash, takes months to even get ahold of them and then told they aren’t taking appointments. Thanks a lot!
