First Friends Preschool is truly a gem! From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the warmth and care that radiates from every member of the staff. The teachers are not only incredibly professional and skilled but also genuinely compassionate and attentive to the needs of each child.

Mrs. Theresa and Mrs. Kelly are absolute treasures. Their dedication to the well-being and development of the children goes above and beyond what anyone could hope for. They have an uncanny ability to connect with every child, making them feel safe and loved. Whether it’s creating a nurturing learning environment, planning creative activities, or offering words of encouragement, they always have the best interests of the kids at heart. It’s evident that teaching is not just a job for them; it’s their passion and calling.

As a parent, it’s incredibly reassuring to know your child is in such capable and loving hands. First Friends Preschool is more than just a place of learning—it’s a community where children blossom and families feel truly cared for. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Hello All,

I personally would not recommend this school to any of my friends with children. It was very high stress having our son here. They often threatened to kick him out. When you’re a working parent this is overwhelming and stressful. We were able to maintain a year or so in this school until we were able to get our son into classical preparatory school where he is thriving. The teacher is not annoyed by his sensitive nature due to him being the youngest in her VPK class. He sits at circle time that is only 15min and age appropriate. He takes his naps and loves his teacher. I receive updates daily of his progress along with his homework.

During his time with first friends the only updates we received is when it seemed the staff was annoyed or agitated with him. It wouldn’t be until that point they piled it on and would talk about all his “problems.” With my wife being a therapist and a SW background myself we found it very interesting how the implications would be that there was something wrong with him. However, with statements being made “ some teachers clash with certain children.” Took me back and by surprise. A child cannot regulate an adult can or should be able to..emotional intelligence is not common I guess. I could understand if our child’s behavior is present in both setting home and school, but it was not. We were done once our son came home and told us he did not like one of the teachers and she was mean to him.

There are staff members who are very sweet Mrs. Sam and Mrs. Kelly thank you for being so kind.

My daughters love going here. Always ask if they can go to school, even on a Sunday morning. They do a lot of fun activities in class, and in the summer they have water days and ice cream as well. The staffs are wonderful and friendly. They provide the kids with phenomenal care and attention. I feel safe and happy sending my daughters here knowing that they are in the right hands. Big shout out to Ms Theressa and Ms Sam.

I recommend this preschool to anyone looking for a wonderful and family-friendly environment. They have a great program and the daily reports are a plus. Love seeing pictures they send of my daughter with activities they are taking part in. They are truly amazing with the children and we couldn't ask for more from the management and teachers. All teachers are loving and caring and always alert parents of any concerns. I have been bringing my daughter here since January and it is the best decision regarding daycare.

First Friends is great! My daughter has no complaints, she loves her teacher Ms. Sue! It's evident that my daughter is learning so much from class activities and lessons. I love going over her weekly assignments on Friday's... Everything is fun & educational, preparing my daughter early for VPK. & I enjoy the holiday parties for the class and families. Thank you!

My child attended First Friends part time in the fall for 3 year old class and full time in the spring for the 3 year old class. When he turned 4, he attended VPK PM class and I absolutely love how he has blossomed. Ms. Carla and Ms. Jackie were an amazing duo in the fall. Ms. Carla handled things wonderfully in the spring on her own. My child is definitely prepared for kindergarten because of her and I wouldn’t have wanted him to have any other experience outside of the one he had. I recommend First friends to anyone new to the area or wanting to enroll their children in daycare/VPK. The staff and other teachers have been amazing and I know my child has always been in good hands when he’s been in their care. He’s going to miss the friends he had made along with Ms. Carla. He said she was always so nice to him and taught him a lot. ☺️

I have been to a few daycare that haven’t worked out so well. First Friends Preschool has been the best choice thus far. My child looks forward to going to “school” which as a parent is great to hear. The staff is caring and pleasant to work with. The location is clean, organized and they have measures in place to keep everyone safe.

Can’t say enough great things about this school! Ms Sue is our daughters teacher and is absolutely amazing! She will forever hold a special place in our hearts for helping bring our girl out of her shell, and loving our girl as if she was hers. We are so happy with the school she will be going for VPK.
