Very pleasant and love getting to take my kids there. The ladies remember my daughter by name and know the books she likes. The staff really know how to foster the love of reading in children. A weekly trip for our family.

We love this library! The staff are friendly, helpful and delightful! They know our name and our reading preferences. Though we have moved from the area, we gladly pay the yearly fee that allows us to continue to use the facility. Thank you!!

Went for a walk across the boardwalk to a huge hidden canal with waterfront homes, boats, and maybe a bait and tackle/water sports shop. The real treat was the pictureresque view of the marsh with dead trees among the live ones, just something to see.

I am a 12 year resident of Flagler Beach, pay thousands too much in taxes for the often horrible service that I receive at the government divisions including the tax office on Moody, the Bldg inspector, the solid waste pickup and worst of all is the library. Itse3ms a requirement of the front desk lady to be without humor and respect. I am a friendly person who starts conversations attempting some humor. Forget it in here. Today was the last straw. I am cutting up my card and going to either Flagler or Ormond libraries. I called in to renew my books as I was told. The lady was pleasant and seemed to renew my books. Today, I go in and was told in the most disrespectful and rude manner that it was due the first. When I explained thatI called in, it was implied that I was at fault and a liar. When I go in to write, this lady always directs me to a certain chair at the table. Very strange. I travel the country and make a point of stopping into libraries. They are absolutely one of the great things about our country. This one is the worst and unfortunately my local one. It is time to get rid of call in renewals and the antique filing system. And the staff should take a field trip to Ormond or Flagler County to see how customers should be treated. Those are first class library experiences! This place is a waste of my tax money.

Library staff very unpleasant. I personally watched the staff being rude to multiple people as they entered the Library. If you are looking for a fun, safe, relaxing atmosphere this is not the place for you. Its very sad!

I enjoy visiting libraries when we are traveling. Upon our visit to this library we were welcomed in a hot/cold manner. Immediately upon entering the library, we were met by the librarian who wanted to know who we were and to see why we were there. We let the librarian know that we are lovers of libraries and enjoy visiting libraries from around the world when we are traveling. We were told that we would be allowed to visit their library if we were quiet and respectful. We certainly did not feel very welcomed. I needed to use the restroom prior to leaving. My spouse was sitting in a seat near the front desk. When a new person came in to express interest in obtaining a library card, they were met with a gate keeping coolness by the librarian. She spoke to them loudly and rudely letting them know that they did not indeed have the proper id and would not be allowed to return until they did. This is very sad as people need to feel welcomed, encouraged and supported in the library and the community. I think these librarians need some lessons in hospitality and service. Libraries are vital to the health of the community and to the human spirit. People should feel supported, welcomed and encouraged to enjoy the services which libraries have to offer. We were very disappointed and hope that they work on their people skills such that the charming little community of Flagler Beach and its residents feel encouraged, supported and welcomed to utilize their library services.

Been using this library for nearly 30 years, and have enjoyed watching it grow and improve. Though it is small, it is a wonderful library, a little jewel in a small town of Flagler Beach . The staff is and has always been very helpful, friendly and welcoming.
