Very bad experience. Flavia and Dina were excellent!! 5 stars all the way! Very compassionate. A tech came into dad’s room on morning prior to daylight and threw a towel at him. Another day he called and asked for a commode and they told him to just to go in his pants. This place is borderline abusive.

Failed to administer hospice approved morphine. Let my mother suffer in pain for hours. She also had an open sore that was not taken care of. If I could give less than one star, I would.

So far so good ! My mother has been here for 3 weeks due to a broken hip! I can’t rave enough about Beth, Z, Josephine , Jennifer, the care team , Ieesa at reception, the therapy department and even Destiny in the front office. They have all been so helpful and caring. The building is old but clean . And the food is hit or miss but you won’t starve . ?Some days you get gourmet, some days you get a cold sandwich. You can tell the kitchen staff also care. Hoping for a speedy recovery and getting to know some of the other staff also.

The people at Flagler Health & Rehab are so very friendly, they show how much they care about the wellbeing of their patients. They deliver medication on time every time, and the food is good!
The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating is because in the 11 days my husband was there, he was allowed a shower and clean sheets only 1 time, and that was only after we complained

Flagler Health and Rehab in Bunnell Florida was my home from September 16 to November 1, 2024. The facility is older; however, concrete block construction, one story and very hurricane safe. I found the regular full time nursing staff to be excellent. Some favorites were Destiny, Beth, Camille, Petal, Kathy, and Sherry as well as several names I cannot recall. My favorite ADA was Pierre from 3pm to 11pm. He was a jewel. The Rehab department was a delightful group. Favorites were Trish, Tracy, Cindy, Bill, Yulia, and Mara. Social services consisted of Cecily and Devin who were both loving and compassionate. Maintenance men Jimmy and Matthew were very accommodating. Zac was a great cleaner.
Taylor and Aimee ran interference on my food issues among other helpful things. The front desk person was beyond amazing. Her name was Axieta (suspect that is an incorrect spelling.). Regardless, she was loving, kind, and helpful to everyone.
The reason I didn't rate the facility higher was
a poorly resolved diet issue which was finally resolved the final 2 weeks. My requirements were vegan, lactose intolerant, celiac requiring a gluten free diet and a variety of food allergies such as chocolate, corn, etc. The kitchen never completely resolved the issues 100%; however, a number of facility employees brought much appreciated food gifts such as bananas, fresh pineapple, brown rice, apples, fresh salads, and a variety of treat items. Many people do not realize that a vegan diet is much more restrictive than a vegetarian diet. And the additional restrictions of no dairy, no baked products, mo pudding, etc. was difficult for the kitchen to keep up with at times.
Overall, I met many lovely employees and the rehab helped me get my recovery on the way.

I was there to visit my brother, David Gregory. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

David has an artificial leg but doesn’t use it. He claims he requires physical therapy to learn how to use the leg but this therapy is not being provided. He told me this same thing in April.

Horrible, horrible, horrible..
Staff is unqualified, uneducated and unskilled. I was there for just a few days for Rehab. Techs were the most incompetent, non-compassionate, unskilled, pathetic people I've ever been around. Takes 30 to 50 minutes sometimes for a nurse to answer your help button IF it's working. Food wasn't good at all. Small portions, burned grilled cheese, dry potatoes, including mac&cheese, drinks disgustingly sweet, no milk, cooler on the blink & lots more.
Tech was rough turning me & pressed on my kidney. Nephrostomy bag was full of blood. Had to send me to hospital for CT scan, etc. Discharged from facility & transported home where my wife takes excellent care of me. Just need PT to start walking again..8
PLEASE DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE, YOU'LL REGRET IT!

I had a very pleasant stay at Flagler H & R. Which included all aspects -- the CNA's, Nurses, and particularly the therapy staff. Trish and Ulia were amazing. Very attentive to detail and the needed therapy. I depended on several of the CNA's, V, Diane, Christian and Jeanine. Nurses Amy, Beth and Kilshondra were very attentive to my pain and took care of me in a very professional and friendly manner. Additionally, the social services office with Devin and Cicely were so helpful they got me out of here on time and i would go back to Flagler H&R if I ever needed Rehab again.
