Setting up an appointment was easy and the folks on the phone were really helpful. I was given ample time to complete all the necessary paperwork. The time I spent with her was meaningful and I feel like she is invested in my health and success under her care. The telehealth system made it incredibly simple, too.

My issue is primarily with Lifestance and their overall customer service, however Dr. Desgraves didn’t exactly wow me either. I used Lifestance a grand total of 3 times, they have billed my insurance over 1k of which I’ve had to pay 600+ for just those appointments. I have spoken to Dr. Desgraves a combined total of 30 minutes for which her office billed me 600.00 for. I was pretty annoyed when someone I know that also uses Lifestance told me their first appointment was a full hr and I paid the same money for a rushed 20 minute appointment. Lifestance never answers messages on the patient portal even though they push that form of contact heavily. They’re also charging me a 50.00 late fee because my 48hr allowed window for cancellation fell on a holiday, I canceled with well over 24hrs left and they’re still going to charge me.

LifeStance Health customer service is terrible. I had to call and was talking to a guy and was put on hold multiple times and I could barely hear him because apparently he was in a small room with other people talking and and his microphone was picking up everything and it was difficult to even understand what he was saying. They tell you you have to cancel at least 48 hours ahead of time, but they don't send a reminder until less than 24 hours before your appointment meaning you're going to have to pay $350 if you happen to forget about an appointment. The counselor is fine she does a great job I just can't stand the company itself. Ms. Desgraves is an awesome counselor, I just wish I could work with her without LifeStance Health.
