I found out I was pregnant in the beginning of January and applied for Medicaid. I submitted all my necessary verifications for income and pregnancy. It’s going on the second week of March and still nothing. EVERYTIME I call they transfer me and tell me to wait 40 days. It’s been WELL over 40 days. On top of that I will wait on hold for over 4 hours. What are you people doing other than playing with underprivileged people’s health? Like a lot of these other comments say, they need to get off social media and stop stuffing their faces and gossiping and do their job. This is unacceptable and I will be filing a complaint as well as writing the state.

Very helpful staff. Had to take my elderly mother for Medicaid and food stamps. This was all done on a computer. The staff stayed right there with her helping her navigate the process. Very friendly staff as well.
This was a much easier process than what I expected.

Customer service is the worst. The representatives do not like to help but walk around or just be on their computers. What is the point of making an appointment if they still have you wait 40 mins and still I have to come back.

I take care of my 81 year old grandmother with leukemia and have been getting benefits for years now to help her. I had to reapply back in June and getting a hold of someone on the phone is impossible. I always get the automated, "Call back later" or am on permahold. My application is in this limbo of, "being reviewed for recertification" after I was supposedly approved over a phone interview. When I tried calling the interviewer line I had on my application, I essentially got what seemed like someone's personal mailbox and was sent right to voicemail.

An absolute joke and honestly not the first time I have experienced this issue.

The application process has been a NIGHTMARE and has made my pregnancy extra stressful. Haven't been able to work for months due to extreme nausea/vomiting and dizziness I have no money in my account and nobody here seems to care or want to help. Everytime i call I'm told something different and I've gotten nowhere. I applied back in April did my phone interview but nobody sent me a notice or mentioned that I needed to send in proof of income so I was denied. I was told if i send the documents they would keep my case open so I did . 30 days went by and nothing.. I re applied again because the process is taking so long I'm already into 5 months of pregnancy and had to max out a credit card just to be able to afford food to eat. I spoke with the rudest lady ever today. The way she spoke to me was as if I was a liar. She had the AUDACITY to tell me that I'm only 18 weeks pregnant and that I'll stop throwing up soon and be able to go back to work . Absolutely disgusting and insensitive to my situation acting like she knows the future. Now I'm sure I won't get approved because of her attitude and her hatred towards me and I'll have to continue struggling to pay for food, bills and necessities for my baby. Thanks alot.
