It is my belief that from time to time it is good to sit down and see a therapist when life get's rather difficult and complicated.
I have seen a few therapists in my lifetime and none of them were even close to being as good as Christopher is.
He is extremely intelligent, knowledgeable, caring and very insightful. In my opinion he is the best of the best. He was able to gently guide me through the most difficult part of my life journey so far in a compassionate and understanding way with great temperament, skill and he just knows what he is doing. I am so happy I met him and with his help I am in a much better place then I have been in years. I will be forever grateful that I chose him to be my therapist and that our paths crossed on my life journey. Thank you!!!

I have known Chris Checke for over 10 years. He is exceptionally gifted: in management skills as director of a large outpatient clinic; in developing new professionals in behavioral health (including graduate interns); in collaborating with numerous community organizations; in facilitating a nationally linked support group for community service non-profit CEOs; and in providing individual therapy & coaching in his private practice. WOW, I think that is the longest sentence I have ever written...and I could go on!

Not a therapist I would recommend for those with depression and anxiety disorders. Unfortunately, he did not see my condition as a serious health condition. I have a safety related job and he did not feel comfortable recommending I have FMLA for assistance should I not be able to perform my safety related job in the event of an emergency. I think he would be a great life coach but I would suggest thinking twice before seeing him for treatment that is medically related. Its difficult to start with a new therapist so thought it would be important to others to share my experience. I just moved to FL and having a hard time finding a qualified therapist. I found a great physician though!
