I met Francis during a rough time in my life— during a custody battle with my ex husband. At the time, I didn’t realize how desheveled my mind was, but looking back, after attending therapy, and healing, I know for sure Francis was crucial for this.

It is difficult for any one to meet with a stranger, open up and express their feelings. I never felt uncomfortable or incapable of doing so with Francis.

I work in the medical field, and refer patients to therapists often. I’ve asked myself, “What makes a good therapist?” For me, interpersonal skills are usually top on my list. How the person is able to express themselves, sensing what other people are thinking/feeling, relating to their client(s), warmth/acceptance, and empathy.

Second, the ability to trust. Third, the ability to establish alliance and to help you accomplish goals. Fourth, someone who can explain your symptoms and why you’re feeling the way you do. Fifth, attention to progress.

Lastly, inspiration, encouragement and hope. There were parts of my custody case that were flat out ugly, and I was pretty weary as to what the future would look like. Francis’s positivity, and encouragement gave me the strength to keep going.

My court case is now almost over, and after 2 years, I am positive this man was a crucial role in my healing process. The insight he gave me most definitely kept me going, daily, and will last a lifetime.

Highly recommend this Therapist!
