I worked with all 3 therapists from May through November of 2024. I prepared for my first knee replacement surgery, then rehabilitated from that surgery and then prepared for a second surgery in near record time on the other knee. My recovery exceeded the expectations of both my surgeon and myself, and I attribute it to the dedication and talents of the physical therapists. They kept me going through my pain and were encouraging me to keep going when the progress was slow and steady. I am not athletic and not used to working out and exercising, but they kept me going and progressing and I recovered very, very well. I cannot recommend them more highly!

This is the third time using Fyzical balance and therapy for me this time after breaking my hip in 3 places having a rod and pins from my hip to my knee. I went to my first therapy session with a walker barely able to move and in a great deal of pain. Melissa worked with me twice a week (as well as Sarah and Yazmin) and after several months I’m almost back to normal and able to walk 12,000 steps a day without trouble, do most of my daily activities without any problems and plan on taking the grandkids to Universal Studios soon! I HIGHLY recommend Fyzical and the highly dedicated staff there! And not to leave out the wonderful Bree!

Yasmine assessed my abilities and built a personalized program that taught be better balance and strengthened my body. She made the hard work fun and we had a good time while I sweat! I can now play a much better game of tennis, which was one of my goals. I highly recommend the University Park location!

Fyzical Therapy was EXACTLY what I needed! I was experiencing residual pain in my lower back as a result of a back injury in 2020 and three subsequent spinal-fusion surgeries. The physical therapists provided the guidance I needed to get my body functioning like I knew it could. Through the course of my injury/recovery I’ve had nearly 90 physical therapy sessions. Fyzical Therapy provided some of the best care and support I’ve had. I HIGHLY recommend Fyzical Therapy, Sarasota-University Pkwy. (My orthopedist PA agrees!)

My experience at Fyzical has been incredible. I arrived with very bad back pain (I have scoleosis) and Dr. Yasmine gave me some exercises and within a week the pain had already improved a lot, and now in the third week I am no longer feeling pain. I had an amazing time with the team at Fyzical Therapy! I went in after a stress reaction in my foot and worked with Melissa to recover. As a dancer, it can be hard to find a physical therapist who will work with you and challenge you in the same way that dance does, but Melissa was always ready to listen and work together to find ways to build back the strength I needed to dance. Overall, all of the staff are friendly and positive and it was a great environment to be in!
