Larry the only PhD therapist doesn't take new patients and the other therapist are so unprofessional. My appointment was reschedule so many times. Therapist interns don't call you back. Just horrible

This place is terrible. Do not go here.. I was referred here through work because my insurance covers a certain amount of free sessions.

I should have trusted my gut from the beginning when the guy working the front desk told me I needed to call my insurance and find out how many sessions were covered and call him back... Pretty sure that's his job but he was too busy every day sitting there eating food and just chatting..

Next my therapist. She was nice but after a couple sessions you could tell she wasn't a great therapist. Talking to her did nothing, zero helpful guidance and info. I went to most of my scheduled appointments but each one started later and later. She was consistently starting our sessions 10 to 15 minutes after our appointment time but she was definitely quick to stop right at the 15 minute till the hour mark or sooner. . I finally just canceled the rest of my scheduled sessions and never went back. You get the feeling this place is just a bunch of college kids having fun with zero actual investment in who's coming in and their well being.

The only bright spot was the blonde girl working the front desk with the lazy guy. She was extremely nice and actually helpful and seemed to truly care.

Avoid this place at all costs. It wasn't even worth me going for completely free sessions. That should say it all.

After being referred to this Counseling Center by a program through work, I realized I already knew of several of the therapists here through friendships and church relationships. As a queer man, it’s always a nerve-racking experience to start with a new therapist, but I am very thankful for the unbiased and helpful service I’ve received so far. The scheduling system is efficient and the reminders are great. Everyone has a smile on when I walk in, and I’ve never had to wait more than a minute or two past my appointment time to be seen.

Absolutely loved my experiences here! Front desk staff is so friendly and helpful, and therapists are very prompt if you need to get ahold of them. Everyone is so understanding and genuine with you. If you're looking to start therapy somewhere, this is the place to do it!

This is a wonderful facility with extremely friendly and helpful staff and prompt therapists who really care about their clients, and extremely inclusive of LGBTQ clients. The man who works at the front desk is so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

I do not recommend this practice if you have severe mental health issues that require urgent and consistent therapy. I was unable to get consistent appointments at the frequency I needed and did not receive any meaningful help from my counselor.

But also, at least the online platform for making appointments is easy to use. You won’t get an appointment for three weeks, but at least the website is competent. 🙂

Dr Larry Green is one of the kindest and most open minded people I have ever met. I highly recommend this center to anyone in need of counseling services. The center is meant to bring counseling to anyone in need, and provides services at a very low cost for anyone that has to pay out of pocket.
