As a therapist who's been working at Garellek Counseling for two years, I've watched the practice grow by leaps and bounds. My child started here well over a year ago, maybe even two years at this point. We also introduced our teen earlier this year. Dr. Garellek has been such a fantastic and invaluable resource to our family, we have also worked with Michelle and Shontell and they have all been wonderful and insightful to our journey in therapy, childhood, and life. There has never been any blame placed anywhere, just acceptance and accountability with guidance and help. Group therapy has also been a wonderful resource as the kids can see they’re not alone in these problems and have made friends throughout. Shontell is wonderful with teens, I’ve seen mine go in super angry and come out with a smile on their face, I’m very glad she is there as a nonjudgmental resource and an extra ear for them to lean on when talking to parents can be scary. Dr. Garellek and Michelle are also super patient and caring of these kids. It’s such a difficult world these days, I am thrilled we have found the epitome of safe places for them in this day and age. Cannot recommend them enough!

We saw David for couples therapy. First visit was fine. We looked forward to coming back. Next visit he no-showed after he made the appointment with us. Gal at the desk said, he didn’t write it down. My partner decided to keep him for individual therapy and he no-showed for his next appointment too. A trauma therapist?! WOW.

Akiva is a wonderful Therapist ! He has helped my husband and I in regards to my step son and how to cope with them and help him adjust to a new life.
