We heard great things about Geneva Glen from our friends, so I assume it's a great camp, but be careful when you register. The 30 bucks is non-refundable even if they don't have any room for your kiddo. I registered on the day it opened, but I didn't get to complete it until about 10 AM. They had room for one of our kids but not the other (which is odd because I submitted them at the same time). So, if you can't register for the camp immediately, or if you don't have some other "in", you're pretty much just throwing away your money and wasting an hour or two of your time (the online forms are extensive, which makes sense). I understand it's only 60 bucks, but it seems unfair to collect people's money when you likely don't have a spot for their kids anyway, and then not return it. Also, the staff is not very responsive via email. Perhaps a phone call is better? Like I said, we haven't sent our kids here, so it might be a great camp, but our experience of trying to get our boys into the camp has been a lousy one. It's really a 1-star experience we've had, but I didn't want to weight the review that heavily, given that our kids haven't gone here, and a 3-star seemed fair. I hope this helps others for next year.

I can’t say enough good things about this camp. My experience as a counselor was life-changing. Our children attended camp and later worked there as counselors. Their cousins did the same. The combination of character-building, leadership training, and group-living all in the beautiful atmosphere of the Colorado mountains was invaluable to their growing up to be successful spouses, parents, and citizens. Now our grandchildren and their cousins are third-generation GG campers, I visited camp recently, and I was glad to find that the "Magic of the Glen" still exists. Our lives have truly been bettered by Geneva Glen.

I often tell people that GG was the most influential thing in my young life. More than my parents/family, more than my church, anything. Now that I'm nearing 50 and have a camper of my own at GG, I'm always astounded at how often during my day-to-day that I hearken back to those lessons and qualities I started learning about 40 years ago. Geneva Glen will always be home to me. I think my 9-year-old daughter feels the same way. And I am so thankful. <3

Hope you like covid. Most if the staff has covid and administration doesn't care. Staff can't afford time off.

Nancy and Ken made my childhood an absolute dream come true. From the friends I made, to the experiences I had, this was the best place to spend a summer at. Geneva Glen will always be close to my heart. I can't wait for my son to experience this place too!
