It's a scam. the principal told me that he believes in his teacher more than his students and they don't care about my disability and I had proof that I had done my work. still kick me out of the program. Such a good college. Also the teachers are not certified. "All they do is the paper exam and see if they pass to become a teacher". That's what Charles Norstum the HVAC instructor. I'll be waiting for my money that the instructor made me loose cause he didn't want to teach. $1280.00

RUN AWAY! Teachers NOT CERTIFIED! You’ll waste your time going here. We dual enrolled our son in the IT program. People were constantly dropping out because the program was so horrible, teacher would never guide to give a clear path to finishing. After high school, my son decided to continue to attend GSTC because he got to go for free since he just graduated. He completed the electrical program. Now two years down the road, he wants to sit for his journeyman’s test and finds out his time at George Stone was a big waste, because neither electrical teacher has any certifications anymore. They are expired! He would’ve been better off going to work, than starting an education here. If you go here, you will realize that their education/classes are all an absolute joke and most everyone goes nowhere from George Stone, despite the glorious stories the counselors tout. This place is 100% a sham.

HVAC Instructor discriminated against students with learning disabilities. He also does not teach when students need the extra help. He leaves his class to hang out with the electrical class all day. When he is proven wrong he gives attitude and than black lists his students.

It's a shame that the tabe test is required if you don't have a traditional high school diploma, etc. I think the math portion of the tabe test is very hard and impossible for me to pass, I took the tabe quite a few times and never passed the math. I think that it should be done away within the state of Florida. It's ashame they won't accept my Penn foster diploma. However, it's good enough to qualify me for financial aid.

I started at this school in august of 2022, I was a dual enrolled high school senior trying to figure out my place in the world and explore career options since I knew a regular collage was not for me. I browsed the class options and ended up selecting the Marine Service Technologies class with Stefan Schmitt. Little did I know that was the best decision of my life. I will be completing the class in July of 2024. Mr. Schmitt is easily the best teacher in the school by a long shot. The class has a lot of information to take in but the way he manages it and keep things moving is exceptional. The amount of knowledge he has in this area of work is second to none. He has had me working in the field since September of 2023 and I cant thank him, this class, and this school enough for getting me on the right path and in the career of my dreams at 18.

So far, I am getting a really bad impression of this school. I applied months before the due date for enrolling, received no confirmation on the next steps and when I called, they said that I was supposed to come in apparently and now I have to wait until AUG if they even bother starting another session. Really annoying and terrible communication. Plus the person that runs the program is rude.

Where do I possibly begin, if you are looking to attend emt school please do yourself a favor and go to Pensacola state college and save yourself the hassle and the excessive stress that comes along with the program. Only 5 people graduate every class out of 15-20 people. You get kicked out over 1 point and no one bothers to email you back about any reasoning only a you can come back and pay to take the course again. I have paid over 3,000 out of pocket for no reason this school has failed me along with many other students.
