Horrible experience! Staff and specially the vice principal is extremely disrespectful! I got the chance to speak to her regarding school safety! Couldn’t even said good morning, gave me a nasty attitude knowing I’m a parent, don’t want to imagine how she treats children! The school smells bad, you can see the disorganization at school events; not enough chairs, children are not prepared. The principal requested $2,500 for mouthpieces, but yet the school cafeteria is moldy, AC leaking, this school used to be good.

My kids have been there since Kinder. It was an A rated school for many years while it was under Mrs. Ludwig, The former principal who retired last year. The new principal, Mrs. Itty , Came on board and started firing some of the best staff members and teachers who made it great,Instituted a lot of draconian policies against staffers, teachers and parents, alienated many people and sank the school to a "C". It's incredible how much a negative leader can affect an entire organization. Luckily, my younger son is out of elementary this year. But in absence of other better choices, this school may work for you in the meantime.Good luck.

I honestly want to give this school ZERO stars not even a one! The staff is horrible and absolutely unprofessional. This is school the type of school that i call a franchise! The school may be nice but the staff brings it down to the ground, you dont want your child in the care of adults like them and they have absolutely no respect for parents its like the kids are in a concentration camp i hate it!!!! My child will be removed immediately!!! Parents do your research think TWICE!!!

I have no experience with Lower Education system in the USA but this has got to be one of the worst school staffs. The biggest issue may be the very obvious disconnection they have to other staff members. Everyone knows nothing about anything. So think of yourself like a ball being bounced around from person to person. Even when you get some instruction and information, it opens a whole other can of worms. No one will take some initiative and if they do, don't count on them seeing it through.

This school is a mess I went here for a sports game and there were no bleachers the cheerleaders had to stand, there weren’t even enough space for everyone to sit. I went to the bathroom and there were only 2 stalls and the sinks were all rusted and the toilets were nasty. I know people that go there and they say there are many fights and the security guards don’t even care.

Overall a good school with a lot of resources available, but I find it unacceptable for teachers to say "ax" instead of ask. There are plenty children who can't say ask, and I believe that it is one of responsibilities of a teacher to correct that, to make sure our children speak properly, not encourage the opposite. My son would always say ask but shortly after be begun attending this school he started to say ax. It took me almost a year of constantly correcting him, for him to stop mispronouncing this word. Many hiring managers will turn down someone who can't pronounce a word as simple and basic as ask because it would reflect negatively on their business, so for a school to hire those that can't speak properly to TEACH OUR KIDS is unacceptable. I heard that the school and stuff was better, was held to a higher standard, before Ms. Itty took over.

I looked at reviews posted by Samantha and Cassandra and immediately knew both of the students needed to understand how to write properly! Their usage of the English language was poor! Instead of complaining about Gulfstream Academy, they both needed to pay more attention in school so they could eventually be better prepared for the educational journey ahead of them. It's so important for the students to know education is their "key" to attaining a much better adult lifestyle. Please pay full attention is school and you'll be very thankful 10 years from now!

This not a good school at all the middle schoolers get treated like their still in elementary their not allowed to have any freedom they can't even eat with their friends they have to come in a line and sit down and get 5 minutes to eat!!! they start off the day the kids in their home room have the schedule as the rest of the class which is stupid because now it's gonna be harder for them to make more friends and interact more with other students to be honest dade is better!!!!
