My experience was not that good here, some questions were asked by front desk women not by anyone else! Literally was told I don’t qualify for help because my situation isn’t emergency type such as being evicted, fire, domestic etc.
However, we are low income family since we just moved back into Hardee County and trying to get situated and hoped to be helped but instead I received no good communication with anyone else other then the front desk women, another women came out and rejected me and gave me 1 phone number to another organization. I think professionalism should at least be a group effort not just one person upfront asking questions and then speaking for you to other staff instead let people has some dignity to speak and ask for help themselves when they need help!

I want to know where a ministry goes so wrong in serving the lord? God says I will never leave you nor forsake you come to me call out to me use me when you need me. I've called I've came to you all asking for help with a bike clothing and food and have continuously been denied. On occasion we have received help and we do appreciate it. Prying the personal business is not something a ministry is supposed to do. Asking one's income in monthly expenditures is not something a ministry is supposed to be doing either. Using their children to gain information to use against them isn't something that a ministry would do either. With this all being said if you need help there run go anywhere but.

This is an amazing place managed by amazing people. They are always in need of volunteers to help sort, label, and arrange the food donations they received. Caring people, a great cause, and lots of need from the community make rhis place a necessity in our times.

We were grateful for the help we received with diapers wipes food etc. But we constantly had to bring in different things, we would get to the next step and then be brought 10 steps backwards. Several times. Then we get told all they needed was my previous landlords number, not my current, we didnt need help for the hurricane even though that set us back. We needed current help because my husbanmylost his job etc. Once they had the number, they would send the approval to the light company and rental. Guess what? I don't have my slumlorDS number, who would keep something like that when you love forward in life and left everything negative behind. So after being told they would send the approval after the number, I said I don't have it. So then was told I was denied. I heard from several people they NEVER HELP financially but I try to always give someone the benefit of the doubt until I get screwed myself. Well mayhem I should start listening to people. So thanks for the emergency supplies and pray my family doesn't end up back to square one because of a phone number. Lets see who sleeps good at night free of a guilty conscience! !!! I would give a 1 star but I give credit where its due and they gave us necessities.

This is a good place for indigent and low income families to get help with homelessness, food items, clothing and providing assistance in locating and connecting with additional resources to help anyone in need. It is run by the Hardee County Ministerial Association.

Go there first if you are in need of food. The will help with necessities after an interview if you qualify. Good place to volunteer.

I don't know I just don't agree with third ideas I live with my sister so I can't get the full benefits of the food even though we could separate and I have my own area they refuse to give me food I believe that if you go in there and he asked for food they should give it to you is like everywhere you go to get free food it's like it's thirst and they don't want to give it to you they find reasons they don't have to give it to you churches are the same way I need a they need to work on that a person is hungry and they go to the place to get some food they should be able to get it you're not applying for food stamps you're not flying for a state program you're doing for a government program that helps get the food to these places for people to get something extra to eat there's so much hunger in this world and the United States my personal thoughts is just according to who you are as to what you get but that's my thoughts about it
