My 88 year old Dad was treated at Hawthorne for a Hip Replacement PT & OT. He spent 9 weeks there, and All of the Staff was So Wonderful with Dad, and took great care of him; from PT & OT, to Care Givers of All levels! We recommend Hawthorne Rehab for Care, Friendliness, Professionalism, and Excellent Communication with the patient & family members. THANK YOU Hawthorne Staff

My Mother was there over 12 years. The current staff has been very good. Any time I brought something to their attention the issue was addressed. They have some amazing nurses. Dietary staff was very accommodating. PT director is amazing and so is the DON. Overall the current Administrator and the rest of the administration is the best I have experienced in the years that my Mom was there. ❤️

I wasn't sure I wanted to do a review until I received an email saying they would gladly help me with upcoming care I may need. Hawthorne is the LAST place I would EVER go. The 3 stars are for the staff & the PT & OT people. They are outstanding. Only 2 people I'd fire if I was in charge. Everyone else is super amazing & the best. The food, if you can call it that, is terrible. I liked breakfast because I ate cheerios!! Don't take your loved ones here!! It's dirty. They sweep, but I NEVER saw disinfectant floor cleaning & I personally know body fluids hit the floor. I went there for PT due to knee surgery & went home with FIVE infections. Wound up back in the hospital a week later. I was actually becoming delirious from the infections. Be careful if you choose Hawthorne!! I was there in August 2023.

So far so good. I have a family member being treated here and the facility is immaculate. Almost all the staff I have worked with have been courteous.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Think before you put your loved ones here. This place is the worst. The nurses that my mom had (most of them) where there just for a job. She fell and they never even told me until two days later. She was on a medication caused her to be combative when coming off the medication, instead of working with her they just told me that she had to leave the facility either going home or they would find another one, they did find me another one and lied on the paperwork stating that I requested the move.....All Lies. I am very glad she got moved because we noticed that she had bruises on her knees, all down both sides under her arms, and finger prints on the back side of her arms. The day she got removed they were bandaging her up stating that she went to hit them and she blocked it causing her to have a huge gash on her arm. When I got to the other facility they were like that does not look like she blocked something. My mom is having flash backs of something that happened there. I will never know because her mind is not there totally. I just feel that I can save another family from going through this. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DONT SEND THEM HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a very professional facility. I have spent a lot of time on rehab facilities and this is one of the best I have ever seen. The CNA'S especially Shantel and Gorge amazing. And the nurses especially Oscar are great. If you put your family in here they will be treated as family by the workers.

This Place is terrible.They are disorganized.pt is good.They don’t give people their meds for days,don’t answer any call when you need.THe food is less than jail food no protein not even junk food

Hawthorne is a phenomenal facility that has outstanding nursing, aids , therapist. That works around the clock to satisfy their patients. And the employees are very caring, loving, positive people.
