I tried other psychologist for talk therapy in the area, and none seemed to really understand what I was looking for to help me. Luckily, I found Healing Psychiatry of Florida.

The front desk personnel helped get me in with an appointment within a reasonable amount of time, verifying they take my insurance. They were kind and compassionate and continue to be!

I first met with Alison, and she was and continues to be amazing. She's approachable and kind and makes you feel very comfortable.

For my talk therapy, I met with Alex, and from the very first session, she made me feel heard, understood, and completely at ease. Her approach is both compassionate and professional, creating a safe space to explore difficult emotions and challenges. I do feel I've seen significant improvement in myself in using the tools and things I've learned to better cope with challenges and relationships and my own self-worth.

I highly recommend Healing Psychiatry of Florida and its staff for your mental health needs.

I didn't even get to go in... despite having qualified Insurance and able to pay a $25 copay, this facility wanted a $75 deposit before even scheduling me to see someone. So, $75 deposit than $25 on my visit. I needed 100 dollars out of pocket despite having Insurance. Wow. So much for mental health assistance. Be aware before you even bother wasting the call.

If you or your loved one is sick do not go to this office. The provider Nellie was AWESOME! But, the office staff are VERY rude and racist. They state that they take insurance. But, they really dont. And, today Monday January 13th, hung up on my insurance provider and myself when my insurance provider was attempting to explain to them how my insurance works (that they STATE to "fully" accept and be in network with). To experience this today, was like a scene from a horror movie.

Loved meeting Abigail in person. I had been doing virtual appointments and when I went in person I found out she had a cat in her part of the office. I absolutely loved this! There is something about an animal that calms your nerves and makes things more comfortable. It definitely made my appointment more enjoyable and look forward to my next appointment.
I also see Alexandra and have been for over a year now. This is the first therapist I have had long term and can tell that my sessions are actually translating to real life. During an intense part of my life I saw her twice a week and she even made herself available after hours until I was able to handle my anxiety on my own. She is in this field because she truly cares about helping people and continues training regularly to learn new trauma therapy practices. I have recommended her to several people and they are also happy with her services and are continuing treatment.
These two are the absolute best and I highly recommend!

I relocated to Florida in 2022, I looked around for a doctor that was going to suit my needs and make me feel comfortable. I definitely find that with healing psychiatry!! I have been blessed with Miss Nelly as my doctor, she takes time to hear you out and make sure you are comfortable every step of the way!
The staff has all been wonderful and super helpful!

I’ve been coming to healing psychiatry for months now and really struggled in the beginning and Alex has been great and helped me get my life back! I struggled for years to find someone who really understood and listened to me. About a year and a half ago when I really needed somebody to talk to, I found Healing Psychiatry of Florida. Jeanette has been a really great counselor. She has helped me navigate through some very hard times. I don't think I could have made it through this last year and half on my own. I would not hesitate to recommend Jeanette.
