Such positive things to say about Hello Sunshine Daycare! Family oriented, staffing and owners are very friendly and nurturing to the children. The facility is always neat and clean and smells so fresh! Communication is very fast on response as well. Definitely recommended if your looking for a cozy family caring facility to know your children are loved and cared for like there own❤️

I love this daycare so much! They are very kind and caring! They help me with my foster daughters. They talk a little more than they used to! They love going to the daycare! I’m so glad I picked this place for my girls! They never been to daycare and I’m so glad they are here! Can’t wait to see how much more my kids develop being here!!!

I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Lauren is extremely disrespectful and the most unprofessional individual I have ever encountered. Her only priority is money. When trying to express a concern over my baby not being properly cared for, her response was only in regards to payment. She did not care at all about the concern I had over my child. The other girls up there are nice, but it seems Lauren is only in it for the money. I also know a few other individuals that have said the same thing about her and have also had issues with her being rude and unprofessional. If you're looking for a safe place to send your child, do not choose this place. I'm still in shock at how disrespectful she is just by trying to express concerns over my child's wellbeing while in her care.

Unfortunately we did not have a great experience with this daycare. We love the staff there but there just wasn’t enough staff to handle all of the kids or meet their needs. For reference, my son is 3 and displays typical 3 year old boy behavior. He can be wild and has a lot of energy that needs to be expended. At least twice a week my husband and I were called to come and pick him up due to a tantrum he was throwing, not listening, and showing slight aggression at times (not all the time). They also tried to suspend him several times within the 6 months of being there for 2-3 days at a time. He was in a daycare previously which we removed him from due to financial reasons and never once was he suspended or was I called to come and pick him up unless he was sick. Everyone I have talked to agrees that suspension is not appropriate for a toddler at a daycare. This started to interfere with my job and I was getting spoken to for having to leave work. When my son began attending, there were no TV’s in the classrooms, those have since been added and in my opinion screen time was utilized too much. When I met with them and mentioned that we don’t do a lot of screen time at home, I was told that they do it because it keeps the kids chill in the morning since they don’t have enough staff until staff arrives around 8-8:30. For reference, the daycare opens at 6:00. I tried giving them different methods of discipline regarding my child’s behavior (ex: pulling him off the playground and placing him in timeout inside when he isn’t listening). I again was met with the response of “We don’t have enough staff for that.” I went to pick him up one day that I was called during nap time and noticed several babies in cribs crying with a couple standing up and crying, not being attended to. That was not a great feeling for me and my heart went out to those babies. There were 2 people sitting in the office during this time and my sons teacher was walking around trying to get the kids to nap and taking care of as many needs as she could by herself but she can’t tend to all the babies at once by herself. There is a big staffing issue at this daycare and I didn’t see it being addressed while my son was attending. There are only 3 staff members there during the day for the whole daycare and one that comes to help out in the afternoon on occasion is what I was told and witnessed. I was met with resistance and excuses every time I brought up a concern regarding my child’s care. We chose to pull our son out of the daycare due to all of these concerns we had. And yes, the reviews were related to a discount that was offered on tuition for parents to leave a review on google.

In response to the reply on my review, I will not sit here and be told that I had untruths in my review. That isn’t fair or professional in any manner. I don’t lie and I will not be labeled as such, I know what I saw and what I was told upon several conversations/meetings. When the doors are open you can see through all of the classrooms including the nursery. There was also a crib in the first room to the right with a baby standing up and screaming in the crib not being tended to as well as other babies noted to be crying and not being cared for. I said in my original review that yes, my child did show some aggression but it was not extreme and you are the provider. More help is clearly needed, there were never more than 3 people in the building unless a volunteer came to help. Again, I know what I saw and experienced, there are no untruths in my original review. You use TVs no matter how many children are there in the morning and once again I was told to my face that it’s because you don’t have enough staff until the other staff gets there at 8-8:30. The TV’s are on until breakfast around 8:30. My sons teacher also informed me that she frequently turns educational videos on YouTube for them to watch. I understand you want your daycare to do well and I do too but I’m not going to sit here and be told that I’m being untruthful. Very unprofessional.

My son has been with Hello Sunshine since they opened when he was 3 months old. From the very beginning they made it obvious they love him like their own. I’m constantly getting pictures of his big smiles while he’s there. I’m so thankful to them for loving my boy and keeping him safe and happy.
