I attended Highridge in late 2011/early 2012 when I was a young teen and graduated at a level 4 (I loved the incentives for good behavior and think about those movie nights often). -- I am now 23 and think about Highridge fondly. My counselors took fantastic care of me and it became my escape from home while I was there. I can not thank Highridge enough for the care it provided me when I was at one of my lowest spots. My only gripe with this program (and unfortunately many of the programs/counselors I saw) was the inability they had to listen to me when I disclosed the abuse I was actively going through from an alcoholic narcissist parent (ranging from emotional to physical). My mother was incredibly manipulative and well put together, and as a young teen in this program fixing my behavioral outbursts were the focus as opposed to gettnig to the bottom of WHY they were happening and getting help/removing me from an unsafe environment. I hope for the sake of kids these days that they are taken more seriously as this is something that weighs heavily on me now, even more than 10 years later. But all that to say, I do think Highridge is a fantastic and safe place and if you and your family is willing to put in the work required then it will absolutely help you.

Graduated at level four, this place changed my life. I was a troubled teen that needed a place like this. If your child is in need of help you can trust this place. I was in house Seagrape with Ms Peterson, I can't tell you the all life skills I received from Highridge. Their teachers, therapist, admin and even down to the kitchen staff was a God sent. So happy to see they are still up and running with state funding.

ii love this place ii graduated here on the 26th of November ii was so messed up b4 ii came here but now that ii left ii learned everything how to control myself and show emotional intelligence and everything send your children to this place if their having problems and plus your kids still get there education so you don’t need to worry they can stay at highridge for 3-4 months so it’s not that long (at first ii didn’t wanna come here but when ii got used to it it felt like a second home to me. )

I love this place I just graduated from here on a level 4. The staff are very open and help the kids as much as they can. Ms.steele was my therapist and she will tell you like it is, she is like my 2nd Mom. Highridge is very safe and they manage the kids 24/7.

Highridge is a good residential program school because you are still getting your education as well as getting counseling. You are assigned to a therapist that’s their when you need her and also it will put you back on track educational wise.

I called this facility for some information and this lady name Shakwandra answered the phone. She was so patient, knowledgeable and very informative on her delivery. Just talking to her let me feel so comfortable to enroll my child in the youth program. You can tell she appreciate working here. Thank you for assisting me!
