Update: Another extremely wonderful appointment. Always happy to see Randy at the front desk! And speaking with Lindsey for the first time, she's amazing, she definitely cares about her patients and their mental health progress! Looking forward to and excited about continuing my mental health journey with such wonderful and caring people!!

After years of dealing with different doctors, this facility is by far the most wonderful experience I have ever had. Randy is so understanding and kind, usually calling for appointments or questions spike my anxiety but as soon as I hear his voice I am relieved knowing I'm speaking to someone who truly cares. And Dr. Holden is so knowledgeable and actually listens to your needs, he's unlike other doctors in my past experiences who pressure you into random medications. Since my first appointment four months ago back in March, my life and mental state has completely changed, I actually feel happy and excited about life.. I'm so grateful to have found this facility and have met the wonderful people who work here. Thank you so much!

This review is mainly for nurse practitioner Jahnelliz Jones but also for the front desk manager, Randy. I have never been treated so bad in my life. What MENTAL HEALTH provider is only in the clinic two days a week and doesn’t have anyone monitoring her messages while she’s gone? That is absolutely unacceptable. She changed my medications and I was suffering from some very severe side effects because of it but I couldn’t get a hold of her so I had to just deal with my symptoms and the very dark place I was in on my own until she came back into the office. And even then, all she did was send me messages back and forth. She couldn’t even pick up the phone and call me to discuss my situation. Worst provider I’ve ever seen and very incompetent. Also, Randy at the front desk brushes everything off and acts as if people are putting him out by calling and asking questions…. That is if you can even get him to answer the damn phone. When I’ve called up there, I’ve had to call at least 5 times before I get an answer. That clinic is not THAT busy. He’s just completely rude and when I told him that I had suicidal thoughts, he said, “ok, I’ll let her know.” Really? This clinic is a freaking joke. Dr Holden might be great but his help is horrendous. I would never take an animal to this clinic. I’m so glad I transferred my care elsewhere.

Absolutely the BEST from the moment you walk in! You are treated like family with respect and kindness by Randy, offered your choice of beverage as you wait in the spacious seating area, and even have plenty of mints (they think of everything) to calm any nerves. Dr. Holden is FABULOUS! I have been seeing him for over 15 years and he has never been wrong about anything and has been by my side throughout my most difficult and challenging times—when I had given up on myself, he carried me forward.
You don’t find doctors who practice with so much heart and dedication like he does.
This office is the total package!

Had a referral made, same day I called and left a voicemail asking if they accepted my insurance. The call I get from them A WHOLE 17 DAYS LATER is JUST for the referral. If you're not able to tell me if you accept my insurance then no I'm not going to go there. I called again to tell them to disregard my referral ONLY 3 MINUTES AFTER THEY CALLED ME, the ringing was VERY long, but no answer.

EDIT: Possible fake reviews as well. You can't tell me that a place who doesn't even answer their phone and hasn't been reviewed in months would have a genuine positive review two days after I published mine. It also has 70 views while mine has 13. Make it make sense. That many people wouldn't scroll away after one review.

Dr. Donnie Holden and his team are dedicated professionals and committed to the care of their patients. He prescribed a DNA test (mouth swab). It determined that the medications I'd been prescribed for the past 20 years were not optimal for me. I'm now on medications suited to me specifically. I feel better than I have in years. His knowledge and compassion are very much appreciated. I highly recommend.

Dr. Holden is absolutely one of a kind. He is a true heroic American Veteran and a hero in the Psychiatric field as well. Him, Paula, and Randy go above any standard of care that I had ever seen. They truly truly are an amazing team and anyone needing help with their mental health, will not be disappointed under their care. I have recommended Dr. Holden to many friends and family members of mine. I cannot say enough good things about Holden Institute.

I’m so grateful that Dr. Holden is my psychiatrist. He truly listens to me and offers information that I could use after each session. Randy runs the office like a tight ship. When I call I always receive a response after leaving a voicemail. I feel very comfortable the moment I walk in the door until I walk out.
