Dr Paola was SO kind and gentle. I always appreciated her calm demeanor during every appointment and checkup. It was my first pregnancy and she was extremely patient with me and and my many, many questions. I had a unique situation where I knew I would not be delivering with Dr. Paola / in NJ but I needed regular care while I was in NJ which was up until 36 weeks. I was so grateful to have found this practice and Dr Paola for my pregnancy. The front desk staff was always super responsive and attentive to me and my needs in my unique situation. Thank you to everyone on the team for being so kind and welcoming!

The doctors are nice but the overall service isn’t great. I was attended almost 2 hours after my appointment time. I was told by the staff “this is how all doctors offices are” and that’s simply not true. There were 8+ women out in the waiting room, waiting for one doctor. How could they be so inconsiderate of our time? They overbook and don’t care to have you waiting. I understand waiting 10-15 minutes. I waited over an hour and a half for my results. Just to have the doctor tell me to eat more fats. It’s just ridiculous. One of the receptionist could’ve told me that. I would never come here again.

As a first-time mother currently pregnant, I initially had no concerns about my care. Everyone seemed very nice and professional, and my midwife was informative whenever I had questions.

However, there were a couple of concerns that I chose to overlook.

Fast forward to my appointment a week ago, during which I was instructed to schedule a tour of the birthing center. I made it clear that I wanted to give birth there unless unforeseen circumstances arose. When I called "Our Birthing Center" to arrange the tour, I was informed that my midwife, Paola Escobar, had not renewed her partnership with them in two years. I questioned how this could be, considering she had told me to schedule a tour and it was also advertised on her website. The staff at the birthing center explained that this was not the first time this issue had occurred, as she had previously directed another woman to alternative providers for birthing services.

If I hadn't made the call, I would have been forced to give birth at a hospital, as there wouldn't have been enough time to transition to my original plan of giving birth at the birthing center.

Now, I must switch providers to deliver at the place I always wanted. While it's inconvenient, I'm relieved I caught this issue now.

This situation is completely unacceptable.

I am pregnant. I just had an appointment this past Monday and had lots of blood drawn. I have had 2 miscarriages in the past. I have been waiting all week long for my blood work results. No one told me I wouldn't be getting these results until my next appointment on May 5th. I had blood work done on Friday. I just want to make sure my Hcg is rising since then. I have anxiety and ptsd, this isn't helping. The wait and the way the staff spoke to me on the phone when I called asking about this is affecting my mental health. All I wanted to know was if the numbers were doubling. I will not be going back on may 5th. I will never recommend this place to anyone either. Poor quality of care for patients well being.

This is an awesome place ! Starting with Naseema and Paola Escobar including all the staff! The front desk receptionist and the nurses that help in the back are all amazing ! They really go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of ! Paola has been with me through 2 pregnancies now and all the in between. Can’t recommend enough !

Love this place ! I been going to holistic since they were in Passaic. Naseema and ALL the staff are amazing ! They are always friendly and inviting! Paola Escobar is the absolute best! She always pays attention to your needs and is helpful! I’m on my 2nd pregnancy with her. The first one was by far my best experience with labor and delivery so I stayed for this pregnancy and will continue to see Paola as my regular Obgyn! I highly recommend!
