You should expect nonmembers to just walk in there and do whatever they feel like doing happens all the time in the gym and you have to put up with people playing music on the Bluetooth speaker that you don’t want to hear and shouldn’t be played in the YMCA because it is the young men’s Christian Association is it not? I joined here to get away from the culture of planet fitness now I’m ending my membership here. Security is a joke.

Joined a week ago! Love it! Zumba is great. Gym is great! Jalen was awesome at front desk! He was very nice and super helpful!! This will be our regular workout gym from now!! Thank you!

Me and Son went to see about the Open Gym (Basketball) on Tuesdays & Thursdays for this location and the older lady with dark brown hair in a pony tail who was working at the front desk this morning was NOT welcoming at all. She acted more like she was afraid of us and didn't want to assist us with this information, so I had to explain to her that I received an email about it and I'm inquiring on how I can get my Son signed up (fees, age requirement, etc) she pretty much didn't know about the fee but she was very quick to say "Well, you have to be 18..." and I said okay...thanks. But it doesn't mention age at all, so that would be something that the YMCA should provide when they are sending out their brochures via email. I normally don't care to come to this location even though it's close to where I reside because the staff at times can be quite rude, dismissive and act like they don't care to be there or just nice to a certain group of people. My Son and I will continue to go to the Port Orange location instead.

I’ve paid for 24 hr access and have yet to be able to access the building. Gotten new key fabs and still haven’t been able to get in. Even got transferred to port orange and still wasted gas going somewhere that I can not get into. Why have 24 hr access but no employees working to help with this issue. I’ve left messages and no response. I just want my money back at this point.. I’ll find another gym
