We hired Homestretch (specifically Brian Trieu-Mallari) to provide weekly PT sessions to cover the six-week gap between insurance-provided home care PT and specialized out-patient PT, for my wife who had suffered a heart attack and subsequent stroke.

We have been very pleased with our weekly Homestretch sessions. At the start of those sessions my wife could not stand from a sitting position without assistance. She also required a cane for walking. At the end of the six-week period she was able to stand up without problems, and her walking distance and speed increased more than 50% - all without a cane. Her strength and stamina had also improved to where she was able to climb and descend a flight of stairs. We have been impressed with Brian’s expertise in crafting exercises tailored to advance each step of her rehabilitation. His patience in clearly explaining the purpose of those exercises did much to provide the motivation to practice them between sessions.

All in all, Brian has been a pleasure to work with.
