Mr. Houston is friendly, personable, and shows compassion. However, I was in a severe crisis and made two desperate telephone calls asking him to call me back, and also to see if he could see me. He never returned my telephone calls. Days later, he called to tell us he was not feeling well and had to cancel our regular appt. He mentioned that he knew I had called and was "distressed." I have been in therapy before, and no therapist has ever not returned a phone call. Especially in a crisis. He told us to call back for an appt. in a few days. I feel this is irresponsible. It didn't feel good, and left me feeling as if I were unimportant, and not worth his time.

Mr. Houston is a very approachable man with an easy smile and open heart. He works hard to dig down to the core of any concern and takes the time to help the patient find the truth, through therapy. I was impressed with his professional attitude and due diligence. He was up front with the process and honest in his interactions. Highly recommended.
