They are more concerned with your pocketbook than your child's welfare. My child saw them through our company's EAP program a few years back. When I called to make a new appointment, the therapist remembered us - because of the fact that there was a balance from a few years ago that wasn't paid. The EAP program, which this provider accepted to see us under, covers several initial visits at 100% for employees so the contracting issues between insurance and provider are not my responsibility. I should have heeded the red flag then, but I went ahead and made a new appt. and put the wrong date in my calendar. After missing it, I apologized and asked how to pay for the visit, as well as, reschedule. Never heard back.

My experience with I-BOS Counseling has been wonderful. I have been going there for 2 years now. Prior to this I had never heard of EMDR Therapy. I was skeptical listening to the description of it, but it truly has changed my life. Each 90 min EMDR session is equal (in my opinion) to six months of talk therapy. I cannot recommend Julie Corbin enough. With her help I was able to recover from a severe middle-aged depressive episode and find a new direction for my life. Have always felt like a priority, very very few cancellations.

After an appointment (the 1st appt. ever) we are told that the counselor will be gone for 3 weeks. On the day of the that appointment I receive a text saying the therapist will be out of town until July 5th. I have called the 1st number listed (which is the president) and left a message. It has been over a week and no one has called me back. The entire experience including input from the counselor has been a bad experience all the way around. I would warn people to stay away from this company .
