My child went here for counseling (a few sessions) for mental health issues and was opening up, but when we needed to make new appointments no with our new insurance one would return phone calls. This occurred for weeks until I gave up. Pretty terrible considering you’re dealing with parents of children who are struggling. I shouldn’t be begging for appointments or your staff to return calls. After giving up with the Inverness location, I tried the Beverly Hills location and dealt with the same issue so either this is a normal problem with this company, or they don’t want to help me or my son. Regardless, there’s an issue with communication and service with impact and my son and family in general are back to the drawing board trying to find help in Citrus County.

My son is currently going thru the diversion program, which is going great he is also receiving therapy and has really bonded with his therapist, which is also amazing. I have tried to get my son to consider counseling in the past, but he has refused because of the stigma that he feels happens. But like another review I am always getting a voicemail I'm never getting a call back and I'm beginning to wonder how I was able to even get through and schedule my son to begin with or if maybe the phone number on this site is incorrect because it literally Rings Twice goes to voicemail. I've left over 5 messages and have never got my call returned. I literally have to call the office daily, sometimes more than once a day, and still always get the voicemail. It makes a stressful situation even more stressful.

No one ever picks up the phone. Called and called for a month finally got someone and then I needed to do an intake before they could place me with a counselor. It’s almost 2 months since the intake and haven’t heard a word. For anyone struggling with mental health the astronomical wait times is insane here. Will try somewhere else and hoping for better results.

I was uneasy about putting my daughter into counseling. I was afraid about the mental health stigma. I didn't want my daughter thinking something was "wrong" with her or that she wasn't "normal". As time went on I knew it was the best option. From my very first phone call I was put at ease. The person that answered the phone was not just professional but personable as well. She made me feel comfortable and walked me through the process. The online portal made everything so easy! My daughter has now been seeing her counselor for over a year and I couldn't be happier! My daughter loves coming. As she puts it, "It's like having an extra best friend. I can tell her anything without being judged!" I can't begin to tell you how much counseling has helped my daughter's self esteem, anxiety and depression. She is like a brand new child. I couldn't be more thankful. Impact was the answer to our prayers!

Jeanine brown is truly an amazing person and therapist, she knows you more than you know yourself. She has been so great to me this last year taking my calls and texts when need. She is the greatest listener and helps you through the tuffest things in life, buloth past and present. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for her. She is definitely the best by far.

I was seeing one of the interns. They cancelled one of my online appointments because they said I missed several appointments in person that I never scheduled. They weren't really willing to work with me and charged me for every missed appointment that I didn't make.
