Dr Lisa worked with me as I was processing a very painful divorce. What started out (in my mind) as a focus on that failed relationship turned into a focus on who I am in Christ. I learned so much about myself, how my negative self talk affects me, and how my inborn nature is reflected in my actions. However, the biggest breakthrough for me was learning (finally!!), knowing and accepting that God loves me without ceasing, He created me with thoughtful intention and care, and that it no longer matters what others think of me. The only opinion that matters is God’s. Dr Lisa has a gift for healing hearts. She used the Word of God each time we met. She used a variety of therapy tools to help me better understand myself and why I did what I did. I’ve gone to therapy in the past without making much progress. My time with Dr Lisa was invaluable. Best decision I ever made.

I have so much love in my heart for Lisa. I’ve been blessed to have worked with her for several years and still see her on and off to this day when I’m struggling. I battled heavily with mental health issues due to childhood trauma and had seen therapists in the past and been put on medication but nothing ever worked. I met Lisa in such a low point of my life and she was nothing but kind and patient with me. Her knowledge of how the brain works and processes trauma is incredible. She has continued to teach me the tools to overcome my struggles and empower me by helping me see who I am in Christ. I am a completely different person today and will forever be grateful to her for all of her help💙

I am forever grateful for all Dr. Winchell has done to help me during a lonely and difficult time in my life. She helped me discover the uniqueness of who I am and how much God loves me. Once I was able to understand, accept and bless my identity and the person God made me to be, we were able to tackle relationships and other life issues. She showed me the value of setting boundaries without feeling guilt. I am thankful for Dr. Winchell and her God given ability to lead people to the truth that will set them free.

Lisa is phenomenal! She's had so much experience with all walk of life, and it shows. The Spirit is always moving through her and she always talks and looks at you with love and understanding. I always find myself recommending her or getting a godly counselor to people because Lisa has showed me how counseling can really help in life. I highly suggest to the skeptics to try counseling with Lisa and see for yourself if it's something for you.

Dr. Lisa has helped me to process past trauma, and some other issues through her counseling. Her sessions are more than talking about things continually and rehashing issues. She applies different techniques and therapies that bring breakthroughs and personal transformation. Also, her temperament analysis training is very informative. It helps in understanding why you react in certain ways. I am very thankful for her professionalism and drive to help people change their lives.
