I can't believe some of these negative reviews! We love Dr. Jeanne. She has boosted our daughters self esteem tremendously and has helped our family as a whole. She DOES NOT sugar coat things. So if that's what you're looking for, she's not for you. She tells the parents and kids how it really is, and some parents obviously can't handle that. She truly cares about the kids and wants what's best for them. She has given us tools to use at home that have helped with both of our daughters unwanted behaviors. She also doesn't push medication as stated in another review. She can't even legally prescribe medication in the state of Florida because she is a psychologist (PhD) not a psychiatrist (MD). Anyway, we have had a very positive experience with her over the last year.

Dr. Jeanne has been a blessing for us! She's caring and patient, but tells it like it is. We were weary of finding a new doc after some bad experiences, but this is EXACTLY what therapy should look like for a child/teen and their family. Very highly recommend her!

DO NOT COME HERE If you’re looking for a psychologist for your child/teen. I saw Dr. Howes for 2, almost 3 years during high school(early 2018-2020). I never write reviews, but I found myself reflecting on the awful and traumatic time I spent here and I felt like I needed to share. After spending many sessions with her talking about my narcissistic manipulative mother, she invited my mother to sit in during a therapy session of mine. Being a teenager, I had no power over this decision. She completely took my abuser’s side and I was left with no time to defend myself and all I could do was cry while they spoke about me like I wasn’t there because nobody would listen to me. I felt truly powerless. She also spent an entire session asking me about my religious beliefs, and telling me that I need to convert to Christianity because the rapture is coming in 7 years and God will leave me to rot in hell if I don’t. These are just 2 examples of the many, many issues I dealt with from this woman when I was deeply depressed & struggling to hold myself together in my most formative years. How this woman is a licensed psychologist is beyond me. Please don’t send your child here.
