Jemie is a great Therapist! Don’t quite understand alternative reviews, because in my book, Jemie is a professional, excellent provider who I trust and won’t ever steer you wrong. She treats you like family. If I could leave more stars, I would. She’s made a significant contribution to my life, career. I am most grateful to have her as my provider. I won’t go anywhere else.

Dr.Russell has helped me through my tough times and getting me back on track. She is available when you need an appointment and is always professional and listens to what's going on and to the patient! Which for me is very important. She makes you feel very comfortable and at ease. Fantastic Therapist!!!!

It's taken me a year to write this review, I've been so conflicted. Sadly, while reading the 1 star reviews, I had to relive my own experience with Ms. Russell. The one that had the most impact was written 5 years ago, where Jemie shared a threatening experience about one of her clients, on that person's first visit. The same happened to me. Coincidental?

The lack of organization (i.e. having to remind her to send in her billing statements all the while she was claiming that she wasn't getting paid), doing personal business on her laptop while I was sharing my experiences, telling me "I had all the answers" when I asked for feedback (counseling) which she never gave, and insults like I looked older than my stated age, and that I was 'obsessed with nutrition' when I was trying to help her just became more than I could bare. I walked out in the middle of our last appointment saying I wouldn't be back.

On a final note, when a person receiving a bad review claims that they don't know you, and that you must be confused with another practitioner the alarm bells should go off. Shameful, I always felt she needed counseling more than me. Let's see if she responds respectfully with professionalism, and learns from her mistakes, or projects her failures onto me.

Leaving this review to give honest feedback of my experience and to help others. I'm entitled to my review and opinion as we all are. Unfortunately, did not feel safe and supported and it was a horrible experience for me. Would not recommend! I'm hoping that Jemie Russell respects my right to my review and opinion! I have never been a threat to anyone and never will be. I'm the exact opposite. I looked Jemie right in the eye in my session with her and told her this is a flight/flight response from my childhood trauma in my childhood and is not in or about the present. She looked at me and nodded in agreement. Clearly, a therapist who treats PTSD should know this. In my opinion, this is a case of a therapist - Jemie Russell - not doing her job correctly and not taking responsibility for it. We all make mistakes! If you want to work with her that's your business.

Jemie Russell is my grandma and she is the most perfect therapist ever she knows what she is doing and she is one of the best. I know that she has been doing this job for over 5 years there is nothing to not like about her. She even sometimes lets you bring your dogs in (I asked her thats how i know). Her favorite dogs are pitbulls by the way. All in all i know that no one should be calling her unstable or rude and not able to do her job.

Dr. Russell has been a blessing in my life. I have been a long-standing client of hers. She is extremely supportive, insightful, and professional. Unlike other therapists that just listen, Dr. Russell is conversational. I always leave my sessions feeling they were productive and meaningful. Highly recommend!
