Our school has changed significantly over the last 18 months. New Administration, new teachers, new focus, new passion. We have eliminated fighting, substance abuse, and over-all school discord by 99%. Thousands of hours and dollars have gone into creating a safe, beautiful environment that supports staff and students alike. We have created a hands-on learning environment that includes music, dance, cooking, theatre, sports, virtual-reality learning and individualized student programming. We are providing many field trips directly related to project-based learning. We are WASC accredited and have vocational as well as college education components. Please come visit. You will be impressed and see a truly remarkable school.

This School is not so good. The emphasise is on behavior and emotion. Your child will learn the norms of everyday life, but will not learn anything above the current grade. As well, faculty members of this School demonstrate abnormal or even behavioral problems themselves. In short this school is a personification of "The special Ed leading the special Ed" The final and most prominent flaw of this school is, that the administration and faculty favor African American students over others. From subtle racism to out right bias judgment when settling a dispute or breaking up a fight. In my three years of attending this school, the students were not able to grow as individuals. I am certain these children will go on in life struggling with simple algebra and proper English spelling machinics. This is due
to being given a simplified ciriculum to boost there confidence, not capabilities.

The only redeeming quality of the school is that they have textbook and pay for their students to go to a nearby college. If your child can learn on their own and behave them selves, then let your child take advantage of the paid college and available textbooks.

Seems things are going in the right way. For a reason. I feel confident and see a future more positive than ever. After customer service changed my mood in a flash after 4 real training sections one on one. As always good service and happy customers deserved a 5 starts but if do that the service may not be tbe same and i need her to continue i talking slowly and clear about next secions. Feeling great i love my instructor highly recommended. She deserves tbe 5 starts next time.

The teachers really don’t care about education. There are many kids in that school are left behind it’s a sad situation but it’s the honest truth the donors really don’t know what’s happening, how do I know this My nephew went there. What do you want to college he learned a lot more than that school, cares about money and the donors let the students not the education and they cry about they want more money how about you don’t let these kids behind and start educating them.

Horrible. The administration and faculty do not communicate well with each. The staff that are paid to restrain students "in house staff" are also the staff to resolve inquiries with students. The in house staff are constantly away from their post, thus intervene at the snapping point. This makes resolving issues difficult, especially when dealing with troubled youth and menatlly ill students. When the students refuse to calm down and the faculty restrain them with more than disconcern for age or mental state. I have personally see a student who constantly fights with them be threatened by in house staff for not being to explain himself properly. The student had some speach impairements, developement delay, and most importantly notable fear from these staff. This is due to faculty taking non-complianceI as disrespect.

I personally think that, if someone demands respect in the form of obedience, they are not ones to be around children who, not only, don't know what respect is but are forced to believe obiedence is respect. These in-house staff give an impression that it worked for them and truly feel that it will work for the students. These staff might as well tell the students not the strive for a career, but prepare for a minimum wage job, for normal people are struggling to get jobs themselves.
