Michelle and Brian are exceptional physical therapists. Knowledgeable and personable they take time to work with you and provide appropriate therapy methods. I spent 90 sessions recuperating from surgery and multiple health issues over a 12 month period. Couldn’t have done it as well without them. Michele is hands down the best Physical Therapist we’ve ever worked with, and you can be sure you’ll always receive top-notch care from her! She has helped me improve with a chronic shoulder issue and my husband with a long-standing lower back problem, both of which had been bothering us for years. When my husband Richard & I first met Michele in early March he had been released from in-patient acute care in Kessler in Chester, NJ a month prior, with home health care and progressed to being on a walker following 3 serious spinal fusion and cervical fusion surgeries and sepsis following a head on car crash last November.

I share these background dates because, when asked what his goals were in March, Richard - who was nearly stooped over in half while standing and couldn’t lift his head or his feet, told Michele he wanted to go back to his job in NYC which requires over one hour travel each way by train and a busy schedule of walking and cabs and subways.
Seeing my husband unable to walk on his own, unable to stand up for more than a minute or two even with. the walker, and unable to raise his head, it sounded like a wild and crazy dream.

I am here to publicly thank the Kessler team for rebuilding Richard’s life and allowing me to witness a miracle. They are the best!

With her great talent, skill and wonderful humor and patience, Michele created a plan, and implemented occasionally with her colleague Brian, which allowed Richard to currently be back at his job in NYC as an architect and walking with confidence, strength, stability and balance that I never thought possible - but Michele from the start said “ok, if that’s your goal, let’s get started” and from Day 1 began mapping an ever evolving plan which included so many physical therapy facets eventually even including weight training and to so much more.

Thanks to Michele’s guidance and physical therapy treatments which started at three -4 times a week and winnowed down to currently one or two times a week - Richard has recovered within 7 months nearly back to his life before the accident.

The plan is that he will be able to turn his head and drive again by end of this year thanks to the amazing physical therapy rehabilitation program he received and will continue to follow the exercises, life skills, and behavioral changes set in motion by Michele and her team.

Every step of his physical therapy rehabilitation program was carefully managed, professionally supervised by Michele and the office staff was wonderful with scheduling and working with insurance. Kessler has been the silver lining in a horrible accident. Seeing Richard healthy, happy, and renewed thanks to this amazing team - I can’t say enough about how thankful we are and how top-notch the care is at Plainsboro Kessler Rehabilitation- from our hearts we thank you, thank you, thank you and heartily recommend Kessler Rehabilitation in Plainsboro to anyone needing outpatient physical therapy. I’ve visited Kessler @Plainsboro a few times in the last 3 years for my upper back/neck, lower back and frozen shoulder. Both Brian and Michelle are great Physiotherapist. I was in so much pain in December 2023 with my frozen shoulder and when I met with Michelle, she identified the issue immediately and worked tirelessly to restore my shoulder mobility fully. This time after my travel to India, my back was hurting so bad. I couldn’t wait to come back from India and meet Michelle. I was taking pain killers, but it was hardly making any difference. After the 1st session, I could come off pain killers and in 5 sessions I’m back to normal.
