I spent multiple hours in session with him, when my marriage ended in 2012. I connected well and didn't mind him sharing personal details and stories, as I was able to glean meaning in the stories that pertained to what I was going through. Almost 12 years has past and I still use and share the skills I learned through my therapy sessions. Just like with anything in life, you get what you put into it. He gave me things to think about, tools to use, and I did the work. I am now in the most healthy relationship of my life and I owe a lot of that to his guidance.

Two sessions with him and he spent a lot of time discussing him self. When I addressed my concerns with him he gave me the names of other therapist in the area. As we told him we don’t mind him discussing him self, but not while we are on the clock and paying for it. Instead of a 3rd session and trying to make it right he quits. He also finishes a few mins early to schedule the next session during the session. I don’t think I was asking for much. It’s expensive and 10-15 mins of him talking about his weekend was a little much.

He did give me advise and to my surprise they worked. He's not perfect but who is anyways. He's very professional and a little too stricked for my taste. I guess he must have seen it all as far as excuses from his clients go. Be your own judge .
