My first and only son was 2 and a half years old when we arrived in Miami. My wife and I, being very protective (perhaps to a fault), spare no effort to provide our son with every possible advantage to excel in life. When we decided on his first preschool, we approached it as a project, visiting (literally) more than 20 preschools in the area, sometimes revisiting them. Despite the ambiguity, we ultimately chose Kids Corner, knowing the risk involved. My son doesn’t speak English or Spanish and is somewhat unsocial due to the frequent moves prompted by my job.

The photo below captures his first day...

From the outset at Kids Corner, we felt he had a village and an extended family of support. Every person working in the school showed exceptional care, empathy, and love for him, as well as for all the children. His first two teachers, Chary and Mallorga, showered him with love, empathy, and care akin to that of a mother. We witnessed his character development and social skills improving every day. I hope this review conveys (as we left Florida two months ago) that no matter what we do, we can never fully repay their kindness. They are not just teachers more like (very patient) angels sent from above, and their names till today echos daily in the corners of our home. Alejandra and Fressy were always waiting for him at the door with big smiles. We started on day one with my son’s tears he doesn’t want to go school and three days later to his tears he doesn’t want to leave school. Teachers Olga and Ana, his new teachers when he moved to the 3-year-old class, helped him engage in English conversation, to our surprise, within only 3 months.

Leaving Florida and moving our son away was genuinely the saddest part of our move. To the family of Kids Corner and all its staff, we love you dearly and thank you for the wonderful year you contributed to our son's character development.

I used to work in Kids Corner for 8 years...I was the VPK-A teacher, one of them. It is a wonderful school, the curriculum they used is one of the best and they have 2 head teachers in each classroom. That is one of the reasons Kids Corner is so amazing 👏 plus the curriculum, the building, the playground, etc. Thank you Kids Corner for letting me be part of your staff.

I highly recommend Kid's Corner. My 2 nephews attended from 2 months until they went to kindergarten. The school provides a nurturing and safe environment for kids to grow and learn. The teachers are attentive and caring. The grounds are well kept and clean. The center provides a lot of activities for parents , kids and teachers to bond. Some of my favorite activities through the years were International Day, Art Gallery, Thanksgiving and Holiday show. I highly recommend Kids Corner if you are looking for a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning center for your child.

I highly recommend this school. Today was my son’s last day and we are very sad that he’s leaving Kids Corner. This was his first school and had a very very hard time adjusting to being away from home. The teachers took great care of him since day one. They went above and beyond with his care and education. They really take the time to teach them. The curriculum is phenomenal. Tons of activities and opportunities for the kids to develop their gross and fine motor skills as well as speech. They keep them engage all day with no screen-time. You get tons of pictures of your kid everyday and can see what they have been doing all day. You also get all the projects that they do at school. I love that the teachers speak Spanish and teach them concepts in that language until they are a little older and then focus on preparing them for Kindergarten in English. I can’t thank enough Ms Lizbeth, Nohemi, MarySandra that gave my son so much love. Ms Fressy and Alejandra that were always looking for ways to make him happy. Ms Martha that would wait for him early in the morning or in the afternoon everyday. Everyone here will care for your kid and treat them with love. We will miss everyone!

Definitely a 5 star, 100% recommended preschool. My kid started his preschool life there and stay for 3 years. We were very lucky to have Kids corner so close to our home. The director is very organized, the teachers are loving and caring persons , they have a lot of fun activities for the kids and families that also teach the kids different ways to learn. From the amazing art night where all the kids get to participate and create serious pieces of art, to the dances, presentations and family events. Something we also loved to was the food ( balanced menu , real food ) and the manners and dynamics at the table, that the kids are teach to have. The education our son received there was always amazing, the program is very well structured academically and the teaching is exceptional. I can still tell now that he is going to the elementary school. If you want to send your preschoolers to a place that teaches instead of a place that is just a daycare, look no more. Kids corner is the best. We will be forever thankful with all the teachers and staff.

We removed our son from this school since he was sick every week with something new, you name it… RSV (out of the 8 babies 5 were out sick with RSV in February) also sick with Hands, foot and mouth disease with high fevers, also sick with ear infections twice since the teacher would take the kids out in the cold with no sweater. My son is a baby, from Miami…not Alaska, and out in the 60s during a cold front, my husband found the kids with the teacher outside and no sweater. WHO would do that? Kids corner school does!! so they really have no consideration for the health of your baby. So he got sick again and no call or message from the school to check in on how the baby was doing. I used to drop off my son and notice how other babies looked really sick, I mean green stuff coming out of their nose and into their mouth, and I would point it out… and next thing you know… my baby is sick because they fail to inspect babies that are sick and accept them in and then your entire family is sick We were paying 1500 dollars a month for having the baby sick all the time. They also will charge you 10 dollars if you drop off you kid 1 minute earlier than the allowed 8:25am drop off. They are a disaster!! Also, the teachers speak NO English at all, so you better speak Spanish pretty well if you wanna communicate anything to them. And I mean… absolutely NO English. My son is a baby, so maybe that’s why the teachers are not required to speak any English.
