Do not let this woman anywhere near anything that has to do with your children. After being assigned her for a custody evaluation, I have absolutely nothing positive to say about her as a person or a professional. 7 months and $7000 later she provided a report with countless errors, and a list of recommendations that was one nonsensical sentence fragment after another, to the point that a mediator who was trying to make sense of it just kept shaking his head because it was so difficult to read. It is also made completely clear that the rules did not apply evenly to both myself and my ex. There were documents that Kim was provided from my ex that I heard of for the first time when Kim spoke about them in her report. She made a special point of chastising me for not providing information to the other party in the report, after she did not make everything very clear of her "rules", but those rules were only applied to me. The very next paragraph was devoted entirely to a document that was never provided to me. She is unprofessional, cancelled several appointments at the last minute, and would go several weeks at a time without returning a phone call or email, no matter how important it was. 7 months and $7,000. If you hear a whisper of her name, stay away, and keep your children as far away from her as possible.

Do not use this evaluator. If the judge or your attorney brings her up request to use someone else. She included lies and multiple errors in my evaluation. She will not be fair with both parties. She would not say anything to my ex about not having paperwork or missing paperwork, the minute I didn’t have something it affected everything. I was also told by her that my ex and I would have another interview to address some of the things my ex brought up, never happened. She was supposed to turn the report in 10 days before the court date. She hurried up and typed a poorly written report 6 days before the scheduled court date. I should have listened to the reviews I read before paying her $8000. All that money and she barely did any work. She would never respond to text messages or email in a timely manner, most of the time it was her assistant. From what I’ve read she tends to side with the mother no matter. If she doesn’t like either parent she will try to recommend child services. Do not pay her a dime.

i do not recommend Kim Underwood as a child custody evaluator. Unprofessional, unethical, and sides with mothers regardless of the child's best interest. She makes no attempt to validate false accusations and leaves out vital (proven) facts in her recommendation report. I don't know how she sleeps at night knowing the lives she's destroyed.

Kim was very professional and worked really hard to try and accommodate both my schedule and my ex husband’s schedule. Unfortunately he assumed we had a scheduled appointment which we did not, nothing was ever confirmed on my end. The reason everything was done via text message was bc the three of us were in a group message, to keep us all in the loop. And the doors remain locked due to Covid protocols, I understood this and not sure why my ex husband did not. Brandon showed up to an unconfirmed appointment and became very upset. I did not show up to the appointment like his lies state in his review of Kim Underwood, I even told him I was in a work meeting. He then told me that if Kim calls me that I should lie and tell her I showed up to the appointment. I saw screen shots of him threatening to embarrass her with a bad review which is really sad bc Kim is great. Definitely would recommend her for counseling.

Kim Underwood is fair, ethical and kind. If you are looking for a therapist that can encompasses those qualities, your in the right place. It’s difficult sometimes with co- parenting to hear hard truths and Kim helps navigate those with understanding and what is in the best interest of all parties involved.

Co Parenting can be hard and stressful. Kim has way of explaining things and it's been a huge help. She's extremely professional and has answered all of my questions/concerns.

My ex wife and I went to Kim for co parenting counseling as directed per court, she never clarified that we both have to agree on a time to set an appointment so we showed up to be locked outside and recieve a text message stating we do not have an appointment, I have asked her to call me to better understand her process, she only replied by text, she is very unproffessional and I would not recomend seeing her
