Here I am 2 years later almost in a wheelchair..I tried to get Dr.Kimber out of his practice but hard to do in florida. He never showed results of my surgery. had a bad experience with Highlands hospital. Dr. Kimber said he would look into it never communicated with us and told us the conclusion of the Hospital s response. Please Please do not go to him. Here We are again in the E R. in Sarasota. The dr said he may have a infection in his back they are testing now. I know if that is it Look out. Future patient of Dr. Kimber.

Please do your research . Look for a Professional Dr. that knows what he is doing. 1. Dr Kimber had no bed side manners for the follow up we had to wait about 1 hr in the office and when he came into the office he spent about 10 min with us and told my husband he would be walking and running the next 5 years. Here we are 2 years later my husband cannot walk and a lot of pain. He has fluid in his Spine and Brittle Bones. We went to a Dr in Pittsburgh and told us his back is really messed up. Dr. Kimber never showed us the MRI or Scan Results. Hopefully this Review helps you. Oh yes I forgot to mention beware of Dr. Kimber who charges more than a copay which is illegal. He charged us 250.00 and when we did pay the girls at the desk said it is his new policy. We have Medicare . We did call our credit card company and dispute the charge.

Went through all the prep work and then Kimber saw an abscess vain on the mri he sent me to some fly by night vain doctor that said no to surgery. I went to Dr St. Louis and he said it’s not a problem to do back surgery. Well I don’t know but I have a feeling that Kimber is not that good of a surgeon or he would have fix my back pain!!!!! After you have tried to call me several times I have to respond to your text. Alls well because the so called doctor didn’t have a chance to screw up my back anymore than it already is. So your claim to you can choose your patients is a joke just like his ability to repair back problems I am not a spine surgeon but I am a good judge of character and I have to say that the way I was treated in this case was horrible!!

After 3 plus years of neck pain I was lucky enough to find Dr. Kimber.
Chiropractors, massage therapist and pain meds including cortisone shots did nothing more than offer a few days relief. My hands had what I was told was Carpal tunnel syndrome (both) and surgery for them was the answer. My inner voice said no this is all related and sure enough Dr. Kimber said yes it was! After replacing two discs I woke up from surgery and had no pain what so ever in either hand. My neck has healed now and I really feel like I have my life back. It was a process but so worth it! Thanks a million Dr. Kimber to you and your wonderful staff. 5 stars all the way!!

Before my surgery I was unable to walk or stand for anything more than one minute without having to sit or bend over to relieve the pinching on my lower spine. Dr. Kimber performed spinal fusion surgery on my L2 - L5 in October 2023. Now, (6 months later) I can walk 3 miles (probably more), I can stand for hours if I wanted to! Thank you, Dr. Kimber and all of his staff, for giving me my life back. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you !!!

Dr. Kimber is a wonderful physician. He has done 2 reconstructive back surgeries on me. One when he was in Mississippi, he did the lower lumbar. He gave me my life back. I injured the next two upper discs in my spine and needed reconstructive surgery. I found that he moved to central Florida, my sister happened to have moved about 2 hours away from him in Sebring. So, I stayed with her and he removed all the old hardware and did another complete reconstruction on my spine. I am back up and walking again without having to take strong pain medication. Thank you Dr. Kimber.

Dr Kimber is definitely at the top of his field. He knows what he’s doing when he does surgery. I’ve had 2 previous surgeries in another state with a different doctor that left me worse instead of better. I’ve had 1 surgery with Dr Kimber and have had nothing but positive results. I wish I would have came here first! Hopefully me posting this will help someone else in making the right decision for their situation. God Bless you Roy
