We were hesitant at first to go through the testing process with our son, but it was far easier and less scary than expected. The staff was kind, responsive, patient dealing with us as parents new to testing, compassionate and thorough. They seemed to truly care about our son's well being. The report was very detailed and helpful to the school as they worked to write up a 504 for next year. We are thankful for the experience and hopeful that the information will provide some specific supports for our son's academic environment next year.
A bonus was that they did take our insurance and it was essentially free - amazing. We are thankful that our pediatrician led us to this service.

If I could give zero stars I would. I got set up with Legacy through my insurance after my father passed away and I needed help. I went to my first session and that was okay, made a second appointment for a month out since that was the only time they could accommodate. When I showed up for my second appointment, the receptionist informed me that I did not have an appointment, and that my therapist was with another client. She then informed me that their computer system had been "down" a few weeks prior and that my appointment must have been lost. She offered no sympathy other than the most condescending sorry that I have ever heard. She then wanted to reschedule me, for another month out. This place is ridiculous. For someone who is seriously struggling with grief to be treated this poorly is incredible. I am filing a complaint with my insurance carrier (UHC) in the hopes that they will drop this horrible practice from their network.

Legacy diagnosed my son with ADD and Dyslexia about 10 years ago. I recommended them to so many different people since. However, four years ago when my other child asked to go to therapy after coming out ( he developed a severe stutter) I asked to see them and they said we would be put on a waiting list. I don’t recall a call back. I took him elsewhere successfully. Unfortunately, that therapist retired so I thought I’d give them another shot. I left a message asking if someone could call me back, leaving the circumstances in a detailed voice message, and they did leaving me a message that said we are no longer taking new clients. Period. No waiting list, no try back again.... I will not be recommending them again.

I have been to Legacy with two of my children for entirely different reasons. Both experiences have been outstanding. The staff, from the psychologists to the front desk, have been nothing but kind and efficient. They’ve gone out of their way to help me understand the insurance red tape and be sure that I was aware of what would and would not be covered. Of course, they can’t change what my insurance provides, but they have been clear and careful about getting my family the services needed and being sure that all that could be covered, would be covered. The testing process and diagnoses have been carefully administered and thoroughly explained. I could not ask for more. Thank you to the Legacy staff.

Stay as far away from this practice as you can. We went in for the evaluation appointment and paid our co-pay. After getting information back that our insurance would not pay for most of the tests, Legacy wanted us to just pay out of pocket, like it was no big deal. We requested they appeal the decision to insurance and Legacy declined. It felt like a bait and switch. Get you in and then telling you all about their financing plans when your insurance won't pick up the bill. Fast forward SEVEN months when I receive a bill from them. I have called three times to try to understand the reason for the bill and ALL three times the billing person was not available and has not returned one of my calls. I would be hard pressed to think of a less customer-oriented business. Thankfully, we did not pursue services with this company and found services elsewhere.

Cost of services was obscure and not provided prior to services. Insurance did not cover and was informed of a hefty bill months after services. Tried calling the billing department (separate company) several times to setup a payment plan since the amount is too high to pay at once. Billing department never called me back. Legacy offices are still calling me asking for an updated credit card and a bill that is $300 more than the bill received from the billing department. The cost of services is shady and not transparent. My only option to pay my bill is to save money and then pay by credit card or check along with a paper statement. I wasn't able to pay online (this is 2021 and bills should be payable online).
Since the bill was so high, I never scheduled my final evaluation visit. Legacy won't give me the written report until the evaluation is complete in person. Evaluation visit costs more $$$ and I'm already in the hole from the previous workup visits.
Advise others to look elsewhere. Payment and billing makes this place hard to work with.

Amazing. They have taken the time to listen and to really help our son. I am so pleased with this establishment and the care they have provided for my son and I would recommend them without hesitation.
I know how hard it is to run an office and the insurance and scheduling conflicts that can arise. If you can make it past those issues (and there may be some) then there are some fabulous counselors here that can provide some insight and help in your family dynamics.

My son had an evaluation here and he ended up having a asthma attack. As this was his first attack we rushed him to urgent care, and the doctors called to check on him even after we were gone. The next day they moved us to a different room to make sure he was more vomfortable. They are compassionate while giving the results.
